no i'm not. i don't think Destiny is a billion dollar franchise.
And the only other person in this thread that even mentioned those words was just quoting Activision CEO as saying "we think it will be our next billion dollar franchise".
I'm usually not one for formalities or rigorous structure when it comes to posting on a casual gaming forum, but the reason you get into it with so many people in multiple different threads is because it's hard to know what you're trying to argue or why. Nothing you've posted since release has been about gameplay. You've bumped the thread with a random unprovoked comment/link about Destiny 2's financial situation three times (1, 2, 3). It comes across as though you are believe the game is underperforming, or even want it to underperform, whether or not either of those is actually the case.
If you're intending to argue that Destiny 2 must not be as great as everyone hoped because it didn't sell well or performed short of Activision's expectations, then you shouldn't be surprised if the people that are still posting in the thread (and therefore presumably enjoying it) disagree and think that it's a good game. It's not uncommon for games or films to profit heavily while still being critically panned, or to be very well-received but flop at the box office.
If you're just posting Forbes links tracking Destiny/Activision's week to week financial success (or failure) for no reason other than you yourself find it interesting, then I don't know what sort of responses you expect.
id rather talk about Destiny than what i'm expecting people wanted sources.. they got 'em. if i'm misquoted i correct the person misquoting me.
But you haven't talked about Destiny. You've talked about it's sales figures. When no one asked. No one's begging for sources, you're posting them up front, unprovoked.
So I have hit 20 on my Titan and 14 on my Warlock, decided might as well roll and Hunter to fill out the classes, holy do they suck. What is all the rage about playing a Hunter again? Their supers aren't great, dodge sucks.
What else am I missing, cause so far this is unimpressive.

The roll reloads if I remember correctly and the dodge is super helpful if you know how to play them. Their ults are a little underwhelming, but so it’s the titan bubble. Golden gun is one of the highest DPS attacks in the game and I think it drops armor too.
Sentinel Shield + Healing Rift can save a fireteam especially during chaotic heroic public events. Seen it several times, several times I was the Titan. I'm assuming the Hunter is simply a DPS sink. Because Dodge was either nerfed due to the first game or simply broken.
I don’t play the class, but I know it is a good DPS class and great for raids. The stealth ability allows you to res without drawing agro and a whole bunch of other stuff. It is sort of like the striker Titan, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense until you get the exotic helmet that lets you reset the melee AOE if you get a kill and triggers regen every time you get a kill with the melee AOE.

Destiny2 remained #1 in the UK for a 3rd week in a row. By comparison, D1 fell from #1 after 2 weeks. Sales fell by 71% from week 1 to week 2. Then fell 50% from week 2 to week 3. Games are not movies.. a drop off like this indicates D2 has got some staying power. Any how, I'm sure someone will find a way to claim i'm saying something negative about D2 with this comment though.
I have to say after I finally learned how to double tap X to get the Warlock to do their special jump, and then earning Nova Bomb. The Warlock is insanely OP. Their Super after two hits pushes Ghaul almost down to Half HP.
I swear have done public event after public event, and even strikes. Only had two Engrams drop and 1 of them was after I filled my exp bar. I have only found two Kerak armor, and a Lion Armor type which was in an Engram.
WTF is going on.
Also why is there Purple Gear but stats are only 10?

I'm almost positive I have seen chars with pure exotic armor is that because they were all matching sets or what?
There was never a full character of exotics. You can only equip one exotic weapon and one exotic armor since D1, the only exceptions are a very few amount of exotics, mostly exotic class items from The Taken King.
