Christ I never really cared before since points and ranks are pretty pointless, but the RQing thing is actually getting on my nerves now. Been RQd on 3 straight times and a bunch of times every day lately. I just don't understand why it's even a thing. If you "discon" you should just lose points and that's that.

The difference from PC and ps4 should only be felt if you edit a config file and turn off v sync. At least that is my understanding.

Don't worry capcom said they started punishing RQers in the first major update! /s

Yeah, sanctions should have been in place at release. It's basic knowledge they could have gathered from anywhere, like BNet. It shows you that even if the opponent doesn't RQ and disconnect on purpose, his connection is shit and you shouldn't be playing him anyway. How is this even a discussion, Capcom?

So I got to go to EVO as part of the TL media crew, ran into PR Rog on Day 2, and asked him for an interview. After playing Ibuki a bunch since she dropped, I have to say that she's pretty fun. She can get a whole lot of different things started off of her punches target combo (which starts with a jab), and you even have an easy e-brake to hit after the second hit if you suck at confirms because there's the LK variation as well.

Poking with forward HK just outside of opponent's neutral can often get a crush, which means I often have full v-gauge without having to be dead first to get there. I haven't played much online though, mostly been playing live with different groups around where I live, so I'd probably get totally blown up by anyone who's reasonably good. I still have a hard time playing online, all it takes is one teleporty match to make me question why I'm playing the game at all

I don't really care what her tier is, but she feels a bit like a less linear (probably weaker) Cammy to me at this point.

I'm really looking forward to Urien now!

I cant wrap my head around this Juri skank. Most of her buttons just seem bad and her combos, or lack thereof, are just odd. Very strange gameplan to all of it. I guess I'll wait to see a good player actually play her.

I can't wait for Urien. Hopefully only one month to go...

Almost all of Juri's combo power is in her stored Fuhawhatevers. Medium version seems like the combo extender, Heavy is the damage, and if you have multiple stored up you can chain all of them together basically.

Heavy/Medium > Light is also safe.

And V-Trigger lets you combo anything you want, basically.

V-Skill can be stored at full charge too, which gives some more combos and (importantly) fireball blowups.

She's actually turning out to be a lot more interesting than I expected, but will need a lot more lab work before I bother trying to play her decently in any real matches.

Haha I find myself using V trigger solely to save my ass when I realize I just did something super unsafe and dumb. Seems to be very often with Juri...

I'm actually somewhat beginning to like her though. She definitely seems like someone you could play around with for a long time. I got bored of Balrog and Ibuki in like a day.
