Issue #1 The kick buttons stop working once im in a game (will work in menu etc) until I alt+tab in and out of SFV. After I do that, they will work until I restart the game and will have to repeat the alt+tab process again. Issue #2 Button 7 (KKK) is always listed as being pressed (check with software like x360/joy2key) this will occur even when I unplugged button 7 from the PCB. Ugh.. the stick is usable but I don't wanna deal with issues, stick is way too expensive for that. If any experts out there, please help! | ||

USF4 had some crazy bullshit too but I liked the neutral game a lot more than V | ||

Gonna be free as hell but should still be a fun event regardless. First time I'm joining an actual tournament (I have attended casuals before and played in arcades but never an actual tournament so good luck to me) | ||

I play some guy I don't know in the first round but if I do beat him, I go straight into the next round where Eita is waiting. I hope I do win round 1 so I can face off with a well-known player | ||

No games of mine were streamed, and I'm thankful tbh as I just played super horribly. Got bodied in my round 1 matchup (I hate playing vs Nash) and none of the rounds were even very close. The only real damage I got on my opponent was when I did some "get-off-me" EX ressenhas or when I would land some random crouch jabs to keep the pressure at bay. My loser's round match, I really think I could have won. Took a round in both games, but in the 2nd game I choked and dropped a combo that could have ended the match (did sappo into nothing) and failed to anti-air a jump in when both of us had 1 small sliver of life left. I also have not really played much vs Balrog and was kind of lost in terms of what to do during footsies. My BB run was pretty free which was expected tbh. I didn't really prep for the game; I joined because there were barely any entrants that I wanted to pad the numbers a bit by joining in. BB is one of the FGs I enjoy the most but I will probably practice that one more when CF drops. Something I didn't like was how they didn't have DS4s ready for use with legacy sticks for casuals. They only brought them out for the tournament proper but I was not able to warm up as a result and while I hate to say this is why I fucked up my execution, I did not appreciate having to play tourney matches with zero warm-up. It was pretty cool though to meet international players. I waited until after the 2nd day was over though before asking for pictures with whoever I could find as I didn't want to ruin their focus or prep for the tournament. I was actually sitting behind Eita, Bonchan, and Kazunoko during the 2nd day but waited until the stream ended before asking for their picture. (sidenote: don't sit behind bonchan, his spiky hair covers the screen and he has a tendency to stretch a lot, it was hard to see the screen at times lol) gootecks and mike were pretty cool. wish I could have talked to them a bit more (especially mike as I copied a lot of his shenanigans when I was playing SF4) but there was a line of people who wanted to take pictures and I didn't want to be the rude guy holding up the line. I kinda wish though that there were more trash bins around. The floor was so damn sticky because I think lots of people knocked over cans of red bull (they were giving away free cans) and the floor wasn't really cleaned up properly. | ||
