But even so, 5 stars are 5 stars. Pretty sure it's hard to go wrong. I'm doing alright with my 5* marth and takumi. I'm just itchin to spend and get some new peeps. I mean I haven't even finished lunatic yet so I'm not that serious :/ I was just waiting for a focus event with some characters I recognize or would fill out my line up well. That wyverns and pegasi one that was mentioned sounds like it's worth waiting for in that regard.
Yeah, I think in terms of quality the fliers are going to be stronger than the easter bunnies

finished the flier quest...after purely rerolling for blue lances and baiting narcian to kill them all, everyone else (camilla, subaki, michalis) were pretty much useless at doing anything

Dang, nice job. I found Narc and Subaki to be my main slayers for that one, with Palla for buffs and Cherche for the occasional extra damage hit. Was actually easier for me than the cavalry one... maybe Palla helped more than I thought.
Cavalry I used Eliwood and then rotated Cecilia, Frederick, Ursula, Stahl, and Abel based on what the other lineup was. Despite having more options, I'd say it took way more tries than with fliers.

My cavalry line up was (4 stars for all) eliwood, gunter, cecila and ursula. They did a pretty good job especially gunters buff, and eliwood's buff having a larger aoe so it was easier to arrange the units in a way that they all get some buff. (no SI)
I just opened a nino with +spd/-def so i'm gonna invest my SI into her, with hinita and shana giving her fury and desperation but now i just have to invest the time to lvl them up and promote them to 4 stars. I hope when the 99 stamina patch hits, they will just refill it for everyone, i really need some to grind out everyone.
Main focus atm being my nowi, new nino, selena (because she will be the next bonus hero), and maybe just throw in takumi or a dancer.

That's nice. Base convos are awesome. The only downside about base convos I can think of is that it 'forces' me to keep everyone alive for fear of missing a convo that involves them.

SI I've used so far:
Nowi (finished): Rally Defense/Moonbow/Triangle Adept 3/Swordbreaker 3
Ninian: Wings of Mercy 3.
Nowi's full build right now is Lightning Breath+/Rally Defense/Moonbow/Triangle Adept 3/Swordbreaker 3/Threaten Res 3. She eats falchions for breakfast.
The biggest weakness of this comp was actually Nino/Julia (The Lucina slot was a handful of different units previously), but thats why I was changing up the 4th unit and finally decided on Lucina even though she has -ATK IVs. She just fills a really important role of being a non-dragon red damage nuke.

Yeah I expected as much when the preload went out. Expecting the preload not to get cracked in a few days was probably wishful thinking on Nintendo's part.

Daaang nice job. Lucina's definitely a beast if you've got her, even with -atk her damage and speed are just so high it puts every other sword user to shame. Only character I'm a little surprised to see there is Tiki (is it young or old?). I'd probably have swapped her out for that green tome user but obviously it's working for you so what do I know lol

There's also some more nitty-gritty leaked info on Serenes and Reddit. Most interesting is the addition of new spells (Rewarp, Freeze, Again, Silence, Entrap) that weren't in the original Gaiden. Also, the villagers have real spell lists that don't suck now, so it might actually be worth reclassing them into Mage/Cleric. In particular, Faye is the only character in the game that can learn Again. Will be interesting to see if she's better as Cleric or as Peg Knight.
