If your tracker is clogged with common stuff, just go to a pokestop and clear some of them out. It takes about the same amount of time as it used to take to find pokemon with the nearby no footprints tracker. So what if it's hard to see pokemon not near a stop (when near stops)? You couldn't reliably track them before anyways and it adds some mystery and excitement to your poke-walking rather than always knowing exactly what you'll find.

This is the issue with the new tracker. ![]() Personal anecdote: I was driving around earlier today at a Walmart because somebody in the area told me decent stuff showed up there. The nearby pokestops clogged my tracker with Pidgey, Rattata, and Spearow. They were all across the highway from me. While in that parkinglot, I randomly stumbled upon a Dragonite that I never would have known was around or even knew could be there. Why should common garbage get priority on visibility over a Dragonite?

I still don't really buy into the complaint. Like I get the shortcomings if you're thinking of a system to find 100% of pokemon, but this system seems like it leads to way more "saw on tracker" -> "caught it" situations than the old tracker + 15min spawn duration. And it leads to a much better user experience a lot of the time. In that example if blue was at Fountain & Linden to track down a pokemon they'd have to potentially cross a busy streets 3 or 4 times to try and pin down the pokemon. I know in my area there are streets that can take 2-3 minutes to cross so you basically get one shot to guess right on where the pokemon was. Not to mention how annoying and unenjoyable it is to wander in circles aimlessly for your 'walk'. It's way nicer now that you can plan a route and deviate on that route to pick up pokemon you see without having to give in to spending 10 minutes walking around a 200m circle. Even compared to the 3 footprint system I like this one way more and find it way more playable because I get to walk in a way that's enjoyable while playing, not in a way where I have to double back constantly.

There are maybe 50+ spawnpoints in the small development I live on. I have one Pokestop three blocks away close enough to trigger Nearby. That Pidgey three blocks away blocking my Sightings isn't interesting. I'm not going to set it as a destination and go off to get it. It doesn't make sense that I know more about it than what is at the end of my driveway. It doesn't make sense that if I'm looking at the list that's all that shows up despite other stuff being closer and even spawned on my screen. Hell, it even shows me some of them before I open the window. 'Nearby' pokemon are given far too much precedence on what the game shows you is around on the Nearby/Sightings window. There should be a mix of the two or a tab for each. The fact that I could have missed a Dragonite for Pidgey, Spearow, and Rattata earlier today is unacceptable for a tracker that has been in the works since footsteps went down and has been in a small, live beta for over 2 months. The Red player on that picture is the ideal. You have something interesting to set at your destination and there's something interesting on your way(Vaporeon). But then you have players stuck in Blue's situation, where they aren't around a lot of pokestops. They don't get to know things like the Magmar and Electabuzz still exist. Instead they have to do the old wander around until you walk into it you dislike so much to get the Snorlax. Even worse, you get players like Yellow who are offered absolute garbage when compared to everything that would be in their Sightings. It has success cases, but with the way it's implimented, it leaves a lot to be desired and delivers more of what turned a lot of players off in the first place: a half baked game that lacks features and the ones it has are poorly polished.

I found a 100 IV exeggcute today, is there any combination of exeggcuter moves not worth powering up? I already have 91 IV zen headbutt/sold beam and two 91IV confusion/solar beams Edit: I guess zen headbutt/psychic and seed bomb suck. But the other four are all good (either for attack or defense)?
