VP often makes it look so easy when they play C9. Not sure what's up with C9 when they come up against the Polish team, seems every time when it matters they get overmatched and overwhelmed at some point and start to completely crumble. Again and again. It's definitely become a mental thing for many of the C9 players I think and it looked like they tilt super hard as seen on cobble. Skadoodle missing awp shots, they start making more mistakes and it compounds. This looked nothing like the team that beat EnvyUs a few times in a row, and took teams like Navi and fnatic to the limit in finals in recent months. Nothing like the team that beat mouz pretty handily just earlier today.

Interesting how a lot of the CS-watching public seems to rate VP as a pretty low team. If you look at overall results in the past 12-15 months, the dominant team was clearly fnatic over the period, while EnvyUs were up there until they started falling apart 5-6 months ago. But then VP was probably the next team that was closest over the period even with their occasional weird losses to teams like mouz and dignitas.

TSM, Navi, and C9 have stepped up in recent months with some impressive results, but it's interesting that each of them struggle when they play VP on LAN for whatever reason. And they're all still looking for their first major win. TSM has figured out teams like NiP and, curiously, fnatic, but they still have a bit to prove against teams like VP and the re-emergence of the new EnvyUs. The playoff rounds will be fascinating and one wonders if teams like Navi and TSM, who have yet to even reach a final of a major, will finally step up, or end up with another QF/semi-final disappointment on the biggest stage.
