Season 13 of the StarLadder StarSeries will commence this weekend at the CyberSports Arena in Kiev, Ukraine. With 6 teams having qualified, $50,000 is once again up for grabs. As  Team SoloMid,  Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic and  Titan are not attending, Team EnVyUs will be defending their title against some fresh faces, along with some familiar ones.

The LAN event will consist of a single group stage followed by the playoff stage. The group stage will feature a round-robin format with all teams playing each other. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals and finals where the matches will be best of threes.

Ok, so I'm tuning in for the first time. I heard how s1mple has been playing godly. From what I have seen, s1mple seems overrated. His shot seems ok, but he's usually the first one dying. Not impressed at all.

The competition must have been bad for flipside to make it to the bracket stage. They seem more like a tier 2/3 team.

After the group stages ha had KD difference of +55, 1.04 kills per round, 33 entries out of his total of 138 kills. That said, both bondik and WorldEdit have brought their A game and kicked extra ass most of the time. The only one I'm not impressed by is Markeloff tbh.
It's been an entertaining tournament to watch, if only because of how unexpected the results were.
F3 are a t2, I think the Bo1 forma helped them, but it's not like they didn't deserve the wins.

It's because they picked it up last round but dont want to use it. Most of the time they throw the HE away and buy 2x flash, smoke, molotov. I do it often too since HE suck massively compared to other versions of CS.
