Explains a lot about the intuitions people have had, actually. If I understand this correctly, this means that if an enemy has a 10% crit chance, 1 shot out of ten will hit and be a crit. Being in good cover does not reduce that percentage unless you manage to get their hit chance below 10%. If their hit chance is for example 5%, they would only hit 1 shot out of 20, but each of the hits would crit. | ||

With only one roll, as long as your crit chance is not higher than your hit chance, you really have your crit% chance of scoring a crit. | ||

![]() My rocket launcher is thirsty. Hit them, then killed two codexes and one clone in the Overwatch, and then was able to hit the rest with a flashbang. One of my rangers with Reaper was able to kill the rest in one go, then got approached by a Chryssalid and took off half its health with Bladestorm. Delicious. | ||
