BTW, i played some more and my hate for the voice acted player grew to the point where i have to skip it, especially when in dialogue with one of the few competent voice actors like valentine. Its Just too awkward and both male and female voice actors should never get a job like this again. | ||

Though it's funny hearing the old voice actors from Skyrim pop up from time to time. A lot of the bandit voices came back as raiders. Also I'm pretty sure some of the settlers are voiced by the same guy who did Garrus, but I can't tell for certain. | ||

Also, the female smith from Whiterun + a ton of other female vendors and a bunch of other characters is the same voice as Desdemona, leader of the Railroad. e: oh shit, today I learned she is Susan Ivanova from Babylon 5! No wonder she sounded so oddly familiar. Checked Nick's voice actor and yea, that list of quest NPCs from Skyrim he voices is long :d also did the original Thief VA, interesting. | ||

Tried downloading some performance improvement mods from the Nexus, but no real luck. I get constant freezes every few seconds when I'm exploring. My graphics card is an antique Radeon 5770. I don't care about the game looks. Did anyone ever manage to get 15-20 FPS with no freezes or anything on a similar video card? | ||

the institute, sure they are not exactly the greatest, but the BoS are a bunch of genociders and the minute man, meh... not sure that will end up working out, the railroad never got my attention they felt too random, like SURE FREE ROBOTS and then what ?, not exactly much And to be fair, you are supposed to end up as head director, so if the institute and the synth have problems with the commonwealth you are sure to be able to change that or at least try to, and boy technology its needed | ||

I have close to 9-10 days hours worth on Fall out 4, I chose to really explore and do misc quest over progressing the main story. Now with that aside, i'm at the part where you've just built the foundation to teleport to the institute (but haven't yet) and now everytime i go near the Castle settlement that i've built, my game crashes. the crash automatically closes the game where i'm just at my main desktop. i've reinstalled, uninstalled and disabled all mods, played a different save file like 10 hours back, yet the bug crashes all the same. anywhere near the Castle Settlement results in my game crashing immediately. has anyone found a fix or can relate to this issue? | ||

good lord those mission to kill the railroad AND the liberty prime were dissapointing, holy shit that was awful, no epic conversation, i mean i was "friend" with the railroad and the bos, and you just go and kill them without problems ? By now most people shoudl know you are working for the institute ... FFS bethesda do a decent quest not just "go and kill desdemona", what the actual fuck Overall good game, i stand by my solid 7.5 out of 10, the quest arent exactly top tier (specially the main quest) and the writing its really really sub par + Show Spoiler + that institute speach its suicide worthy 48 hours and level 43 | ||

You could use the console command to go to the institute and use the console to finish thw quest, hence you dont need to go to the Castle  | ||
