Stage 2 of FACEIT's 2015 League is under way as qualifiers for both the European and North American regions are still to be played out. The Oceanic region begins their regular season today with Team STREAMLINE and Dire Wolves winning through the qualifiers to acquire their spots.
LGB eSports have already lost their spot to FlipSid3 Tactics in the EU qualifier, while Team EnVyUs will be fighting for theirs against GPlay and the winner between mousesports and HellRaisers. The two spots for the NA qualifier are still up for grabs with Ace Gaming, Nihilum Gaming, Luminosity Gaming, affNity and Keyd Stars all in the hunt.
Europe:
Fnatic Ninjas in Pyjamas Virtus.pro Team SoloMid
Titan Natus Vincere FlipSide Tactics Team EnVyUs
North America:
Cloud9 Team Liquid Counter Logic Gaming
Team eLevate Luminosity Gaming Nihilum Gaming
Oceania:
Vox Eminor Team Immunity The Chiefs
Avant Garde Team STREAMLINE Dire Wolves
Teams from Europe and North America will face each team in their region twice, playing a home and away match. The away team drops two maps from the map pool (Cache, Cobblestone, Dust 2, Inferno, Mirage, Train and Overpass), with the home team picking a map from the remaining five. Oceanic teams play each other once this stage with a standard map picking system.

HURRAH! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!
Beautiful but, alas, wrong. Each game is listed twice for Europe and Oceania, refer to how NA is set up for the correct way(assuming Oceania has home&away matches as well, I was unclear on that).

Nihilum just beat LG 16-4 on cobblestone. LG is the team that came in second in the league portion of ESEA/ESL. I am literally shaking my head right now lol

Yes, if they beat Nihilum, they will go to Valencia.
Thank you One question though: I just looked at the standings and if Liquid wins vs Nihilum but Nihilum beats all the other teams ( 4 games to be played from them) then the teams will tie at 18 points. Just theoretical speaking couldn't Nihilum manage to gain 2nd place then? If they get a really good map score in their remaining games? Or will the head to head count, if they tie?
PS: Somehow the sentences don't feel right to me. Please excuse my grammar and spelling. My English is not so good

It would be head to head. If Liquid beats Nihilum today, TL would have a 2-0 record against them.

I'm kind of glad Liquid missed gfinity and esea/esl finals. Liquid would have been burnt out with all these traveling to these events.
Agreed. Still alot + they're also bootcamping. Well, let's see how they're doing at the upcoming lans. I expect no miracles (in general from the NA teams) especially against the EU teams, but I really hope that they can put up a good fight against the European overlords. Not like winning 4 rounds combined in a bo3 vs Fnatic :D
