I wasn't really trying to play well tbh (hard when you can't even communicate because we're all in the same channel and it's 2v2 with 3 boths on each team). Sorry if I was getting on your nerves, but trust me it's very very frustrating to have your bullets constantly not register... I can relate xd My way of coping with it is lots of prefiring and lots of full sprays.

This just looks like high ping plus people shooting you while you try to control your spray tbh. High ping will let them get the first shot off most of the time, unless you're peeking them, which is what I usually try to do anyway because I find it more fun. One thing is that some of the guns you're using are not that accurate (m4a4, glock) compared to their counterparts (m4a1, usp, p2000), so the rate of fire you're using for say the glock is a bit high for that range. If you spray at a wall (I do this a lot to see how much I can spray at various ranges while being accurate) you can see how accurate your bullets are, and compare that to the distances in the clips you have posted here to paint a slightly more objective picture as opposed to a subjective one. Specific clips: 1) M4A4 @2:18: It looks like you're getting shot as you spray, according to the server. He is peeking you, and I'm pretty sure you had close to 200 ping, so it's possible the server registered your shots as coming later than his, so the thing where you get shot and your shots get less accurate because you're being shot is most likely coming into play here. To rule out human error to an extent I would go ahead and just practice M4A4 sprays as well, just to be sure that your sprays are good. 2) AK-47 @2:49: He's peeking you again, so it's possible he shot you first on his side, and then you started shooting according to the server, so again with the lessened accuracy due to that. Also CT head hitboxes are strange, so when it looks like you're shooting his head, sometimes you're actually shooting right below that. Plus you flicked a small amount down before firing your first shot according to the video. Gotta aim higher. And again with the ping thing, with 180+ ping it's possible that you 'died' before firing your 3rd and 4th bullets, even though on your end it looked like you were still shooting. 3) Glock @2:55: Long range with glock while you're firing kind of rapidly, even with perfect crosshair placement that's not going to be a likely shot to hit. Plus armor + helmet, so even if he's standing still, which he was, it would probably take about as many bullets as you shot to kill him from that range with that fire rate. 4) AK-47 @3:04: He sidestepped as you fired your first shot, so it's not surprising to me that the rest of your bullets mostly missed. Plus ping again, so server side, you probably fired a few less bullets than you shot client-side. I just think that practicing sprays at this point until you have a good feel for the range and how to control your bullets. I used to have a lot of these issues, and I still do to an extent, but I think that learning to control your spray better could help you a lot.

Of course I still need to get better at spraying etc. (who doesn't?) but it really feels like some days/hours it works fine and I do well and then other days these moments in the video happen round after round after round. EDIT: Just noticed we're still in the community night thread. Let's not spam this with more about my pesky hit reg issues (or spray control issues or whatever), sorry! :p

Let's not spam this with more about my pesky hit reg issues (or spray control issues or whatever), sorry! :p Remember hitboxes are small and difficult to hit. The one against the illustrious porkRaven looked like you had poor spray control coupled bad crosshair placement. You started your spray to the right of his head and whiffed the first 2 bullets or so and lost control of your spray when you were going for the body. Notice a little jerk to the left that you don't account for in your control. It was also probably a little off putting to get crab pushed through a smoke. On cbble you did have good crosshair placement right before you started firing. A millisecond before you shot you moved your cross hair a little down and was aiming around the neck area. He also killed you extremely quickly. You just fire too quickly with the glock at that range. The last one you weren't set up and just whiffed a lot lol.

Before I forget (I really didn't want to carry this on in this thread but oh well): also in the cobble match I was t-side running up mid and when you get on the A-side slope there's these two flower pots on the wall, right? I tried shooting the right one, standing close-range and perfectly still and it wouldn't react to my ~5 (single) bullets either. I flicked over to the left one and that would break. I actually (and said on TS at the time) that I thought I had found a bug with the map where they forgot to enable physics for that right flower pot but in a later round I tried again and that time it would react to my first bullet and break immediately. Could this be a lead that there is some sort of technical issue after all? I can't reproduce the issue anymore now.

Sprays aren't that hard to practice, just spray at walls a ton between rounds so that you become really really consistent with your spray control. You see me doing it in the video for example, literally jsut shooting 30 bullets at the wall at the end of the round when every enemy is dead.
