Really a shame, CSGO games were fun until today. Lost 3-16, three to fucking 16 against the most blatant fucking smurfs I have played against in awhile. So fucking tired of this.

And just had a game where 2 allies finished the game with like 4 kills each....what the fuck is this.

There are few players I despise more than the ones who blatantly cheat, but still make the game go to THIRTY EFFING ROUNDS just to super safe win in the end. What a WASTE of my time.

Right behind them on A-hole scale are their friends who insist that everyone is legit and "we just suck cause we are all drunk." LOL. Carried novas can't even admit they are being cheat boosted. "No guys, we are TOTALLY legit LEM/SMFC."

Good they see Valve focused on the important things like the new operation, and some COD style ranks. So cool man, who gives a fuck about the hitreg issues that valve even acknowledged not too long ago?

Oh yeah, inbetween doing shit like getting 50 kills with a scout in dm matches, I actually got around to playing a competitive. Was doing well, 10-5 after the half. So what happens? guy who topfrags turns on walls and maybe aimbot too. Just hits every god damn awp shot and finishes the game with almost 50 kills. So legit. Guess he really didn't wanna lose.
So....whens the next ban wave Valve?

I was playing competetive yesterday, playing de_zoo we're up 14-13. Next round I'm spawning with bomb, some guy keeps screaming at me to give him the bomb, I refuse and rush B. Dude comes and TK me and takes my bomb, we lose the round. Next round I'm about to shoot his fucking head off cause I was basically carrying the team and I got disconnected for too much dmg on own team player - we lost the game, GG VOLVO. Promote those ass shitters that trolls ur game more.

IMO the duration before the game consider it a leave should be longer. At least the time to reboot a slow computer and launch back the game + reconnect. I'd say a solid 15 minutes, I would've esapced a competitive cooldown when my graphic card died and I had to change it in a hurry

15 minutes is potentially enough time to leave at round one and come back to round 15 without consequences. That is obviously way too much. I'm not sure what exactly it is right now, but I'd say 5 minutes should be plenty to reboot your computer or connection if something was to happen. If your connection constantly loses out for 10 minutes or more either due to bad router or, unfortunately in a lot of areas, complete shitbags of an internet provider, then you shouldn't play competitive. Yes, I know it sucks, but you're ruining the game for 9 other people constantly instead, which is even worse.

For the issue with steam fucking up and giving you 30 minutes of things to do before you can get back into the game: completely unacceptable from their part, but also something that luckily happens extremely rarely (Hasn't happened to me or any of my friends even once yet).

edit: I also think there should be absolutely no consequences for leaving if you're in a premade 5 man group. That's just retarded. When someone reconnects, they should also have instantly access to the bot, or at least make it play out the round. It makes no sense for the team to be actively punished because someone reconnected by removing the bot instantly

Mmh, depends, but yeah in the most extreme cases you could end up reconnecting just before the loss...
Dunno, this looks like a unsolvable problem, either you'll let people ragequit, then reconnect just in time, or you'll punish people that just drop for various reasons...

As far as reconnecting goes I'm kind of on the other side. But then again I never had any of these issues ever so that's where I'm coming from with my opinion. I think they should try and find out what the cause is for people that do get the VAC auth error (to be honest I personally don't even think it ever happens to anyone in my team with 5-6 other people so it's maybe not as common as people make it out to be?) but I don't see why you shouldn't punish someone who disconnects from a 5-stack? Just because I queued with them does not mean they get to disrespect us other players without punishment!? Maybe add a forgive-vote in or something just for that case where you're in a 5-stack? If it's not a technical issue, though, I would never vote 'forgive', even if it's a friend that rage-leaves to be honest. If you don't have that minimum of discipline you deserve a little punishment and hopefully learn a lesson.

@739: If you got 2 7-day cooldowns 'from' it, then you had a long history of leaving/TKs etc. before to be honest. If you didn't, the VAC auth errors would've just been a small inconvenience and you could've just relogged in and rejoin.

The problem is when people drop for no punishable reason: computer crash, internet died, things like that.

Never ever queue midday when you're in the cest timezone. All you get is griefing eastern euros that can't handle anyone being better than them, crying hacks everytime they die or just sit and wait for the whole team to die to one get completely useless exit frag.

Yeah that's why I think a vote only for 5-stacks would be good.

On the premade thing: it doesnt make sense to punish a leaver. Obviously the team chooses to play with him, and if he behaves badly by leaving, it should be their choice to punish him or not by either continue playing with him or not. I don't like it when someone on my team loses connection, and we have to tell him: sorry, you have to wait 30 min or 2 hours or whatever the time is before you can play with us again

I see what you mean. I'd still prefer the vote option to forgive or not because it has greater flexibility. I've been in a situation where friends have rage-quitted several times and I've always been happy that I didn't have to punish them personally by saying that I don't want to play with them anymore. So I always thought it was kinda good that they'd get their punishment and weren't allowed to play for a set amount of time and then we could talk about playing together more or not basically.
