It's pretty frustrating when there is 2 meis and 2 genjis on their team every game. Instantly frozen then killed, or reflect damage killed.

So my laptop which can run GTA:V can not run Overwatch according to systemsrequirementslab.

Oh well, answers the question whether I should buy it or not.

seagull is streaming on 5 yr old hardware just fine with little frame drops now and again.

I do know that he's also running on pretty much full low settings. The game still looks pretty good at low.

In most games the way to figure out how to beat the "OP" class/hero is to play it and see what you have problems dealing with.

This applies for almost every game, not just shooters. There is nothing more enlightening that playing the flavor of the month hero and realizing all the things that can murder that hero. Makes your life so much easier.

Genji is pretty good ! until the stun grenade hits near him (don't hit him!) . I like that Widow is better at long range then McRee now. But damn a well positioned amped widow is so hard to beat now.
Also Junkrat is funny against Genji.

Have no doubt there was a lot of push back from some business/marketing folks who had endless metrics showing just how much they could make if it was free to play. I am really impressed they managed to swing it. I think they need a couple more game modes, but they said they are working on it.

Nah, you can be sure that Blizzard as a very large and successful business have numerous marketing and business folks of their own and have made the decision for Overwatch, the same way that they have made the payment decions for every game Blizzard has ever made. It's highly unlikely that the software developers of Blizzard have any authority over the payment methods of the games. Unsuprisingly the masses of self appointed forum goers pushing for f2p, and were proclaiming how overwatch must be f2p are unlikely to be employed in the marketing department of any business.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I mean high up people at Activision talking to Mike Morhaime and high up people at Blizzard with about the direction to take the game and how to make the most money.

Does anyone understand overtime? I've played games that I've won but then it goes into overtime and the attackers keep playing and finish the objective and I get a defeat screen. Is overtime a real part of the game? If it's intended, why does the clock give precise figures and then sometimes go into this vague overtime mode? I don't get it.. it seems dumb. I normally just take a break during it but now I'm questioning if I'm "ruining" games by going afk during overtime.

If its like TF2 which I assume it is, overtime is caused by members of the attacking team being on or near the objective(for example an checkpoint) when the game time has reached zero. if they can capture the objective during overtime they will win the game, if not they will lose.

In the case of Payload the overtime bar will not run down while an attacker is near the payload.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Not quite, at least in regards to TF2.

Overtime in TF2 means the objective is still being contested. If it's KotM, the win condition is the full timer and 100% control. In Payload, offence wins if they reach the target, defence wins if the timer hits 0:00 and the payload isn't moving. So on, so forth.

If Overwatch is the same, it's basically a mechanic that lets the losing team with momentum still win as long as they never lose control, and forces the winning team to have a solid win instead of playing the timer out.
