And the connected realms they now have behave completely like 1 realm right? My old server has a combined population with its connected realms of 4200 on horde side. Maybe it will rise a little with WoD. Might this be enough if one plays casually and wants to do the occasional raid? Or do you guys recommend to only play on the 10k+ realms if one wants to do any raiding? | ||

To me that seems enough of a number for at least 10 guilds on horde side to try and raid at a semi high level though. However playing on a more populated realm you get more chances to get into a guild at your level due to more players etc. You also have the chance to pug more on the same server etc. All comes down to preference, i like Twisting Nether and how stupidly busy it can get. I will probably rage post in here during leveling in WoD due to how packed it is but i still like it due to sheer opportunities. I'm on stormscale with my main at the moment though but i will be bringing that back eventually. But yeah I guess it might be enough. Problem is if I started on a new server I have no gold etc. there, that might be annoying. | ||

Be interesting anyway, i hope more people come back or at least the numbers just stabilize. As you can see from 12million high in 2011 to a 7.4million in 2014 is a big crash. Still if you x it by the subscription price you can understand why it is still going =P | ||

Every time a big drop was reported it was stated as being mostly Asia, now ofc no one has the numbers by server except for Blizzard and they dont need to release such details but if we take their word for it then the West has seen a relatively minor drop overall. The returning numbers of this last quarter tho are probably mostly in the west as their seems to be a decent movement of old players coming back in preparation for WoD. | ||

I am not sure if Chinese players are included in this though or if those numbers come on top of that. Because the Chinse pay hourly and have no monthly subsciptions. | ||

It includes Chinese, They are counted if they played in the last X days, If you want it more precise your going to have to do some googling because I don't know off the top of my head what the cut of was. Could be a month could be different. | ||

Lool i always prefered fury since you could 2x 2handers, so many transmogs to go for etc. Never understood why people would arms unless they were PvPers. Fury rotation for WoD has become a bit silly though it's like 3 buttons TT | ||
