But fuck do you make me cringe with all that epeen boy. Maybe that aggressive insulting is a result of being called out and insulted himself? He was asked to back his talk up with achievements, and he did that and then some.

I was essentially called a botter so I defended myself. Then I was told I'm not qualified to defend myself, so I posted otherwise. How, exactly, does that mean "epeen" to you? God forbid I have some accomplishments in a video game and mention them when someone questions my ability to play said video game.

Don't even dignify these trolls with a response Serejai, it's like dealing with Twitch chat. Save your brain cells.

Hehe I remember playing with the High Warlord on Spinebreaker server. I ran into him in an AV game and he said he needed a good rogue to take out frost mages and healers that slowed down his rampaging. I was like, "you want little old me to gank for you?!?" "yes sir!". And McStabbie the rogue would stealth behind the High Warlord and lobotomize the shit out of puny alliance mages and priests. Mwahahaha! But yea comparing arena rating to high warlord is like comparing homestory cup to OSL

What character did you actually do this on? (feel free to PM me the name and server because I'm curious)
In any case, you can go about "defending yourself" in a far less abrasive manner.
I'm ready for WoD, Siege is such a boring ass place and I really can't see myself raiding it for 5 more months while they dick around in beta development.

Lol, I did the same stuff. I was a mage so I had to coax people into camping rogues or healbotting me while I ran around spamming Arcane Explosion/Blizzard in the middle of 40 Alliance and/or camping midfield. Thankfully I had a really good Shadowpriest with me named Qor and he had just gotten HWL and offered to PvP with me 10-12 hours a day until I got mine, too. It made things go a lot smoother since I wasn't in a guild at the time and thus the normal way of getting HWL/GM (farming 5caps in AB with a guild premade) wasn't an option for me.

so I logged on an alt (all my alts are in random guilds for leveling purposes), and I had a popup message saying the guildmaster was inactive, and if I wanted to become the new GM.
I said yes, and now i have a 200 man alt guild with a free full guildbank and 25k gold
LOOOL

Kind of shitty if you just take it honestly.

its just some random leveling guild with only a handful of people online within the past month, why wouldn't I?

Maybe that's why i don't get much those days. Glyphs were selling quite nicely on my ally toon but enchants (also i'm not max yet). But since i have some hard to find one (even if they are useless) i sell a bunch of em (but not much).
Would you point me out to some nice "guide" or "ideas" to optimize my sellings ? (or maybe a discussion via PM) since apparently your quite good with it. I'm not talking about full guide are something but just maybe how you sell and which addon do you use. On what setting or maybe just general ideas.
I used to be pretty good and loaded in old expension but i stopped playing a long time and i don't understand anything right now it seems.

These "guilds" are nothing more than the GM exploting the perk where an extra % of money looted goes into the guild bank.

Not really shitty; hence why Blizzard implemented the feature. The guild leader has to basically have his account cancelled for 90 days and the person who takes ownership has to be rank 3 or higher.

There isn't really a "get rich quick" guide (unless you want to buy one from one of those scammers that sell gold guides on ebay). The economy on every server is different so what sells well on one may not sell well on another. Unless you play on a server that I've played on before (which you don't, since you're EU) then I can't really tell you what to buy and sell.
You need to use, at minimum, TSM, Postal, and some form of bag mod. You also need a spreadsheet and you need an account on one of the various economy websites that pull auction data from the API. Most of all you need your own realm data, such as how much competition you have in a given market, how many suppliers there are, what the average raid days/times are of the big guilds on your server, how many PvPers there are, etc. Making gold is completely trivial but you have to put effort in to learning your market first.
Also, avoid pets and mounts like the plague; they are pretty much all duped and if you buy any Blizzard will just delete them off your account and/or ban you (ban first, ask questions later - if you're lucky) and you won't get refunded any of your gold. Also avoid glyphs because that market is most likely controlled by bots on your server and you won't make anything.

Yes of course, i know it defers from servers and i'm not into the "gimme guide to gold plz" thing. It's just general ideas. I have TSM and their new api (which is nice and sends mail when there's stuff you want at low price). Do i need wowuction too ?
I don't really get what you said for pets. I buy pets on different realms and sells them on mine. Is that not legal ? How can you tell that glyphs are controlled by bots ?
Anyway thanks for the advice. I think i just need to get used to the new market and all the technics that exist today.
But out of curiosity. For say... Gems. Do you sell at constant price (like %dbmarket, or %profit) or do you adapt everytime after watching the competition ? (cause i don't think i can do that now that i have activities and play wow marginally)
|
Wowuction is good to have; more data is better data.
Normal pets are ok but all of the TCG pets are duped, as well as a lot of the other rare ones (Hyacinth Macaws, for example). You're taking a major risk anytime you buy one of those and it's simply not work risking an account closure over a few thousand gold. Any time an item gets duped I immediately drop all of my inventory and just walk away from future purchases because I've had too many accounts banned for unknowingly buying a duped item and then Blizzard says "tough shit".
Gems depend on the server, competition, and demand; and most of all gem type. For example PvP gems don't sell much at all but on a new patch day (new PvP season) you can raise the price tenfold and they will sell out. Other gems sell constantly, but at prices too low to bother with (red gems, for example; usually always get more by selling the raw gems because the cut gems sell for less).
The valuation method depends on all of that. With red gems I just set a flat price to them and sell raw because the cut gems are always 10-20% cheaper and fluctuate a lot whereas the raw gems sit at the same price. For cuts that don't sell often you can keep them at ridiculous prices because when someone needs one and you're the only person selling that cut... they will pay. For the popular + valuable gems like oranges, greens, and purples, it's usually best to just go with the current market price. They sell fast so the price stays stable on them. I wouldn't ever use %profit for various reasons, biggest being that it's really really hard to not make money on gems since you can produce them for, literally, negative gold so even vendoring them is profit.

I pre-ordered WoD, so I got a level 90 balance druid on EU now! If anyone wanna help me find the timeless chests, so I can gear up, please let me know

Yes, but I need people to kill the mobs around, as I'm not able to kill anything right now

All of the chests can be done without killing or aggroing any mobs; especially as a Druid. The only one you will need to aggro anything on is the one by Ordos and that's only because you have to corpse run a few times to get there.

I have tried doing it myself, and wasn't able to. Also, it's more fun playing in a group. But nevermind.
