Well, If we have enough people interested... We can start one. But I admit, I'm now exactly sure about how to do all those settings the best.
I would probably choose default options. (HoF 10, all multipliers set to normal) but with scoregraphs off and Throne Victory on, even though I'm not sure, what the best Throne distribution is. I would do something like 4-2-1 (That's 11 Points in total) and 8 required to win.But a lot depends on the number of players.

Also question would be, if people want to play aquatic nations... So which map to chose...

In any case, all those interested should probably say so, so we can have a rough estimate. And if there are certain nation wishes, those should be probably mentioned as well, as I guess some players do not have enough experience to paly multiple nations, so conflicts should be avoided ^^.

Oh, and I take EA as granted ^^

So lets start:

1) Mahrgell: Sauromatia or Abysia
2) lpunatic: Tien Chi
3) Shloober: C'tis
4) HeatEXTEND: Yomi
5) Icapica: Machaka (if someone else wants it, plays Ulm)

I'm up for a game too. I'd rather play Machaka, but in the very unlikely event that someone wants to play but has no experience on any other nation I can also choose Ulm.

Edit - Oh hey btw, I'll be on a cabin kinda away from civilization from Friday to early Sunday (Eastern European time). While I will have my laptop there and some kind of internet connection too, I'll probably be more or less tipsy tipsy all the time and my friends won't react positively to me spending time playing a game. So, could we wait at least until Sunday to gather players and agree on the game settings etc? I suppose I can send a pretender before Sunday if needed.

Sure we can wait, we are not in a hurry.
But I'm still waiting for some feedback on the settings.
As i Said, I propose:
- standard multiplier
- 10 HoF-entrants
- NO scoregraphs
- Throne Victory, 4-2-1 Throne distribution, 8 points required to win

I feel that a disciple game might complicate things a bit and demand a little more experience from players. Since the pretender chooses the scales that the disciples will also have, there's some planning required as to what nations can go in the same team. For example Abysia and Ulm can't go together as one wants hot and another wants cold. Also the current plan I'm thinking of for Machaka involves scales that would be pretty unplayable for many nations. In a disciple game either I'd be the pretender and my disciples would suffer, or I'd be a disciple and have to change my plan. Because of this I think for a disciple game players should be familiar with several nations so that they can choose ones that work well with the pretender.

I'm still fine with a disciple game if enough people want it, but I'm not sure if I'd play Machaka then. Ulm might work better in a team.

As for mahrgell's proposal, they sound okay. Especially I definitely don't want score graphs. I have really no opinion on HoF entrants. Maybe we could wait and see how many players want to join. Wouldn't 15 be better if there are a lot of nations?

As a rookie (10 MP games), I disagree. Having a veteran player as the pretender of my team would help me improve. What I'm lacking : Sound understanding of magic paths/gem usage/army placement related to magic scripts... Working under a pretender who knows well his magic paths would help me improve in those areas. Ofc you're not gonna team up Marignon and Ermor, or Jotunheim and Abyssia, it's easy planning.

Just how big of a deal is starvation? I can't find any precise info about it in the manual. If my supply consumption is 100 above the limit, will I suffer a lot of disease if I stay for another turn? Can commanders get disease too from starvation (or are they assumed to have priority during dinners?)
