After playing the Brood War campaign and doing some AI luls i started to playing the campaign from this game, to have a similar level of challange that i had on Brood War should i play on Hard or should i stay on Normal? | ||

This is definitely the right thread. If you're looking for challenge and already understand the basic concepts of WC3, then go for Hard mode. Plus, you get extra credits at the end! hehe The campaign is pretty cool. Have you done WC3:RoC too, or are you talking about both anyway? | ||

Hey! I've actually been slowly working through the WC3 campaign on hard for the past few months when I have the time, in the final chapter of TFT now. Twilight of the Gods is still my favorite RTS mission (I love holdouts and lore, and it checks all the right boxes for me). I'd definitely say go for it. The RoC missions overall don't have the best design, but TFT has some really fun concepts along the way. There are definitely a few missions in both that can be pretty challenging, though. Also, any base-building mission that gets over the top can usually be dealt with by just having a lot of patience. Glad to see I'm not the only one still having fun with it, though.  | ||

Im pretty fuqqing hyped about this. Ive been meaning to play this game for YEAAAARRRRRS. So ive got it installed, patched to 1.26 and i'm playing through the campaigns on hard (right off the bat, i hope its hard!) | ||

It does , but not in the human campaign , that shit is too easy man XD , but I understand what you are coming from , in the terran campaign in vanilla BW you think you are advancing through easy missions then all of a sudden some fucked up shit that frustrates you for weeks shows up....Wc3 has that  , just wait........but to be fair I have to say that the BW campaign is superior in that regard.I finished Wc3 on Hard mode 3 years ago , my recommendation to everyone , if the mission doesnt have a time limit , try to secure an expansion , defend your bases with towers and scout everywhere ( sc2 style ! ) , once that shit is down do the mission , believe me most of hard mode can't be finished using 1 base.....unless you are speed running or something then I dont know shit XD My all time favorite missions are the ones with Grom Hellscream , specifically the 2 missions where he has to harvest a fuck ton of lumber and the one after it when the demi god goes after him. Gotta throw an honorable mention here , that mission where Illidan gets the skull and turns demon , EPIC MISSION ! | ||

I also liked watching a lot of replays from GG.net back in the day, but to be honest, I think BW is a better game both in terms of balance and spectator-friendliness. | ||
