Seems you guys have a good timing, I think you can set up some games together. I would, but I can't, I am incredibly busy. Been working 11 hours a day.. In my free time, I sort of just chill. I apologize for not answering to the thread as much.
@LeDavid, I added you on GArena, but I'll be honest, I won't have time to play for at least a couple of weeks. If you want to talk though (about strategies or games and such), that'll be fine!
@Sanger Zonvolt, could you upload a replay where you lose mid-game, as you described? Might help me give you more solid advice. It's more than just unit composition, decision making and execution also play a major part.
Are there any maps you generally lose on? What kind of strategies do you lose to most often? Any race you really struggle against?
I suggest you make a GArena account, and add the people on the thread. I can't be very active right now, but I'm sure you'll find a handful of other people, perhaps Tchado, 3point14 or LeDavid, as I said earlier. I'll answer your question with further details if you provide a replay and/or answers to my own questions too.
I just want to learn how to play at all and not fundamentally run around trying to look good with my blademaster :3 I guess we could play Sanger but from my understandment you wanted keep on learning while I myself only want to familiarize myself with the basics, which means helping eachother wont be really gaining for BOTH of us.. :/ then again I have come to this particular thread only to fix this problem
Id like to play too, I play Human, very rusty but not total beginner. i rarely play standart tactics though. just tell me when you have time or are on some server. greets

It has been a fun challenge running ladder trying to figure what I should actually be doing, I've been exclusively playing Night Elf.
I do decent in the early game, harassing or fighting off harass, taking a Demon Hunter or Warden and picking off workers, but once the mid game hits I always lose. I just can't seem to win fights, even when I mass bears and dryads like suggested, I get stomped pretty hard by the enemy team and not sure why, even losing to an army of mostly just riflemen. I micro my troops decent enough, but I still hardly put a dent in them, even if I won earlier engagements at tier 1.
So I'm mostly looking for night elf army builds and tips of what I should be doing, watching replays I mostly see bear dryads, but my bears go down pretty fast to orc tauren/shaman or knight/riflemen. Blademaster also just wrecks me hard early game, gets crits and two shots archers and wisp.
Also if anyone wants to play, I'm definitely looking for players to play from here and learn with, B.net: Sanger_Zonvolt
Bears in NE v O are very tempo based. They're strong if you get them up early and can start upgrading them and outpacing his upgrades. Spirit Walkers are also a hard counter to Bears if they're not upgraded. Bears also require a LOT of micro to use efficiently; (staff and rejuvenation).
The mass talons/summons build dominates Orc because it forces him to go like pure raider/spirit walker and trade inefficiently, then all of a sudden you've got level 5-3-3 on your heroes while the Orc is stuck at 4-3 or 3-3. Consider doing that build and transitioning into Chims lategame instead of Bears.
Bear/Dryad is standard in NE v HU but again, they're based on getting your Bears up quickly. If he's able to get your into a fight where you can't dispel his slow, he'll just kite you to death. Or, if he gets a bunch of mortar teams up along with his sorcs, that's even more kiting power. Think of it this way; your DH should actually be doing the big damage with poison orb and killing off units, your Bears are big tanks, and your Dryads are countering his casters. Watch pro NE v HU fights in slow motion and see what the NE heros are doing during the fights.
EDIT: A couple more notes. Vs. the blademaster, your base should be built where he can't get to your wisps. You should build your buildings where it complete cuts off the pathing to the trees behind (don't get your hero stuck behind though!). GIS "night elf base block blademaster" and you'll see some pictures (the image hosting doesn't work anymore, but you'll be able to get the gist of it). Also, you should generally only have 3-4 lumber wisps in base....the others should be around the map in scouting positions (of course, any ones he picks off you might need to replace).
If your strat is Bear/Dryad, try to get by with less archers early on. Use AOW creeping instead of building 4-5 archers...they just become XP for the enemy hero lategame.

I used to run a Warcraft 3 customs tournament every wednesday night, uther party/madballs/warlocks every time. I've since stopped but uther party is the greatest Wc3 map ever made.

Generally I lose to standard armies, Archmage/Paladin Knights/rifilemen/priest, Blademaster/Witchdoctor Raiders/Taurens/Wyverns/Shamans, Deathknight/Lich Cryptfiends/Obsidian statues.
I do best actually in Night Elf mirrors.

I've actually tried to do mass talons against orc, but they all went down pretty fast to Taurens and Wyverns.

I started doing this after seeing it in replays a bit ago, was hilarious trying to see the Blademaster get in.
I'm a US player(Azeroth) also, but I can get on Garena or w3arena, I'm open to play most of the time, GMT 2:00-8:00 pm is fine.

I think you overall need to be more active around the map/pressuring....if he's getting up tauren AND wyverns you should have ended the game or be up 2 expos on him at that point. The mass talon army is very good in a 50v50 fight, it's not good 80v80 (the talons will clump up and not all be able to attack).
Also, mass talons really doesn't work without getting DH/BM/Tinker or KOTL...without summons he can facerush you with speed scrolled units.
Talons can win vs wyverns in medium size engagements when you morph them to crow form,
I dont know what to make out of this video , first of all I'm no WoW trash , I'm Wc3 for life , AND PEOPLE NEED TO REMEMBER THIS IS A WC3 SONG ! not some WoW thing , WoW can never have something this epic.
2nd , screw the horde ! Orcs can take a blademaster's blade and shove it up their OP asses
3rd , I usually dont say this to fellow gamers but GET OFF YOUR ASSES YOU FUCKING NERDS !!!! When Level 90 Elite Tauten Chieften brings in the lead singer of Cannibal Corpse to do the most epic song from Wc3 , YOU SHOW SOME RESPECT ! SCREAM THE LYRICS , MAKE A MOSH PIT , HEAD BANG , HYPE UP , DO SOMETHING ! The crowd in this video is totally pathetic , bunch of nerds.....I'm so ashamed as a wc3 player and as a metal fan.
Anyway enjoy
Edit : WTF IS THIS ????
From wikipedia :
2011 Blizzcon Controversy
At the Blizzcon event in October 2011, Blizzard's and the band's 'LVL 90 ETC's decision to feature George Fisher's censored video expressing his dislike of the Alliance (a faction in WoW) as a lead-in to the LVL90 ETC and Fisher's joint musical performance caused an outcry. Spurred on by GLAAD, gaygamer.net published an article questioning the company's and band's tolerance of the views expressed in the uncensored version of the video, which included a number of homophobic remarks, one anti-'emo' remark, and a desire for the alliance to 'die'. The story quickly gained traction, and was subsequently addressed by the company with an open apology letter.
The complaint seems legit , good job apologizing blizzard , nice to see that.
Man, Chimeras... I forgot those things even existed in War3. You almost never, ever saw those in a real game... Man, they were powerful though. I miss War3. >_<

btw not sure if this is known but there are also many cinematics, whole movies created with custom maps.
Maaaan I'd have joined that uther party tournament. (tried the other mini games but I still enjoy Uther Party the most! :D although they others were more popular in the currently dead local server I used to play in haha) Know more people? How can we play?

I never played that , is that the same as Raynor's party ?

Uther's party is definitely better that Raynor's party (ultima-z of course, not uther party 2)
You guys are all wrong, maul wars were the greatest. Like better than melee SC2/BW/WC3 combined. Although not as good as ghost only paintball maps in BW .....
