everything impacts on credibility. open your yap and make big promises and then deliver nothing and it impacts credibility. if you want to throw your money at these guys.. be my guest. don't tell me what to do with my money. from my perspective, at this point, i'd be more willing to spend money on Derek Yu's next creation than on Artillery's next product. I do, however, remain open minded. if Artillery wows me with some amazing experience i'll adjust my stance.

We don't really need more MOBA failures on the market... LoL and DOTA2 already own the market, why do these people possibly think they'll be able to bite off more than Smite, HoN, Heroes of the Fail, Bloodline Champions, Battleborn etc.? They had a vision for a game and went for it. To me it sounds possibly very sick. You might want to wait until you get a chance to see/try the game before you assume it's just another MOBA clone.

so they've got 4 months to go through Alpha testing. Then a Beta and then release the game. its August 19th and the game has less than 500 followers on twitter. good luck with skill based matchmaking and low latency intense combat. this is not a formula for financial viability. these facts further impact their credibility

I do, however, remain open minded. if Artillery wows me with some amazing experience i'll adjust my stance. I remember the browser thing, I'm not sure what their plans are long term are with their engine. Things do change, I imagine, running a start-up. I have a lot of minor criticisms about the way they're handling public relations, and some of your criticisms are reasonable. Yet a lot of it, as far as i can tell, is just assumptive. The game itself, may be amazing, or it may be trash, and little you have said has any bearing on that. I hope you try it out and give them a giant earful on their forums. You may find that they are pretty cool people. No one is telling you what to do with your money, and Artillery wants you to try the game and rant at them (if you want to) free of charge. I really don't think release dates, particularly tentative unofficial ones, really have much -that- much to do with their credibility.

Has anyone gotten into the alpha? It's really weird how little I know about this game. https://www.reddit.com/r/guardiansofatlas https://twitter.com/playgoa I really don't like the art style they're showing in the art that is shown on these social media pages. Reminds me of Battleborn /other Gearbox games.

Blizzard promised PvP in D3 for years and never delivered. this impacts their credibility. Fortunately, BLizzard delivers in so many other areas their reputation can easily withstand this 1 mis-step. Artillery has delivered nothing and has no reputation to fall back on. I advise keeping one's expectations low for this game. On August 20 2016 19:44 TaShadan wrote: Original TA is old yes.
