Yeah, but seriously. Most of the fundamentals carry over in every game along with your ability to read the opponent's tendecies (through experience). With those, all that's left to work on is adjusting to the different systems and your combos | ||

Execution and mind-games carry over. Well, except Street Fighter 4, but all the players in the top 8 of SF4 originated from older communities | ||

Justin Wong historically has beaten specialists in tournaments for games he doesn't regularly play because his fundamentals are so obscenely strong, allowing him to focus on playing his oppoenent as oposed to the game. He can pick up a new game, find a good poke, a good reversal, a good anti-air, and a good punish, and he'll beat 80-90% of players with that alone. | ||
