A full set gives maybe a 5-8% boost TOPS, and that's if you finish a full set with non useless runes. I mainly got them for my current gear because aside from gloves and pants i'm basically as far along gearwise as you can get from adventures. It's definitely not worth it if you're going to be replacing the gear in the next short while, especially for adventures which are very straightforward/easy unless you're trying it with sub 45 gear or something. It's nothing compared to the importance of perfecting your dps combo, just knowing exactly how to use innates and rotate spells has a much much larger effect. | ||

I don't think we have or will ever have the numbers to make the TL guild an active raiding guild. The most we've had online is probably around 6 people. We have very different leveling speeds etc. What this means is that anyone who joins the TL guild for the community sacrifices their ability to progress in dungeons/raids at the speed they want to progress at. One thing we've completely ignored in Wildstar is their 'Circles' option. Circles are, as far as I can tell, very similar to guilds, but you are able to join up to five of them. For these reasons I think a TL Circle is much more appropriate than a TL guild at this point. I have created a Circle for us and will be inviting guild members as I see them. I will be disbanding the guild once most of us have joined the new Circle. | ||

Have to say though it was an immense amount of fun. I think almost all the wipes were my fault, but each time I learned something new from it and was able to progress beyond that mechanic the next attempt. It really requires a lot of focus though; you can't daydream in the middle of a fight you could in WoW dungeons. | ||

theres no real reason for us to all be in the same guild if its not going to be big enough to raid or warplot etc. | ||
