He says he's adding directional buttons - similar to a hitbox or a pad, one would think. Neither has a true diagonal input. http://i.imgur.com/maK05xl.jpg The diagram seems to be what FullSchedule sent to MrWizard when he got it approved. It's not much to misunderstand to be honest if that is the case.

Either the 4 hitboxes buttons, or a joystick. Don't put both on your stick.

You could make a case about Hitboxes, but I think we need to define legal equipement as something that has only one method of directional input. Either the 4 hitboxes buttons, or a joystick. Don't put both on your stick. But then the rule would be only 1 input for one action so you can't map say HK to two buttons. Personally i don't care as long as it's 1 button 1 action, no macros. Then you're at least doing all the work yourself, when you get control schemes from hitboxes, sticks and pads i could care less about custom sets ups to work for specific cases. That being said up+left and up+right are those avoid directions is that a 1 button direction or is it two button. At Least in most sticks, pads and hitboxes i can think of that's 2 inputs as it's two switching being hit at the same time. All that depends if that button combo is sent to the game as one input though.

Had it been me, I would have assumed that they were u d l or r.

After trying out Big Band in the beta, I can't wait to use him in the final game. Since I'm also using playing Ms. Fortune, which of [Filia, Parasoul, Valentine, Double] complements Fortune/Big Band the most. I just have this feeling that I'm missing out on something with just Fortune/Big Band.
