sure if you want them bad and low level. they respawn like 30 levels higher if you wait

I thought EV training doesnt start until you actually start training them 0o so level start doesn't matter. Am I wrong on that?

Plus I think it's pretty questionable to say that the Musketeers are so strong as to make the main story too easy. Or, at least Cobalion and Virizion.

You can EV train them whenever, even at lvl 100 due to the bw2 mechanics, so it doesn't matter. Still, the game gives you the option to get legendaries to roflstomp everything if you want.

I wouldn't quite put them on kyogre/palkia/dalgia/etc level, those can just mow down the entire elite 4 themselves.
cobalion and the gang can get through maybe 1 or 2 if they are lucky lol
anyone ever play ruby? man groudon was terrible for that elite 4. ruby so much harder then sapphire

The stats automatically update with increasing EV regardless of levelup, which makes EV training lvl 100 pokemon possible.

Honestly Cobalion and Virizion are just meh because playing single-player with multiple defensive Pokemon just makes things slower overall for no real reason, and by the time you get them you already have access to better defensive non-legendaries. Terrakion is more practical but even then, he's not really outrageous by any means. Just on par with the other strong Pokemon you might have at that point.

Though I guess they had to use Dark/Psychic/Fighting because every other possible type triangle overlaps Water/Fire/Grass somehow (e.g. you can't use Rock/Flying/Fighting because Grass > Rock and Flying > Grass).
Just want to throw out that the Gen4 starters were weird too. Grass/Ground, Fire/Fighting, Water/Steel. So your grass starter was neutral defensively to the water starter, but SE offensively. The Fire starter was 2x weak to the Grass starter defensively, and neutral offensively. The water starter was 2x weak to both grass and fire defensively, neutral to grass offensively and SE to fire. Just super odd relationships all around. This current one makes much more sense, assuming the stats aren't weirdly imbalanced. Also thank fucking god there's not another Fire/Fighting starter because that type is lame as balls.

"Just how many pot roasts did they stuff into Mega Gardevoir? I see what they're trying to do with the design by attempting to give it a ballroom dress or something, but she just looks like a fat chick after 50 Big Macs. Gourgeist also looks a little silly.
Hawlucha looks really cool. I always liked the idea of a Fighting/Flying Pokemon, and playing around with Farfetch'd in Volt White cemented that idea in me. I'm glad to see one in Gen VI. Dragalge's Poison/Dragon typing is also pretty interesting, though it's gonna get walled to shit by Steel-types, particularly Mega Mawile who's immune to both of its STABs. It'll probably get Water-type attacks for coverage, but still, it's unfortunate that Poison's newfound usefulness on Fairies gets negated by Steel-types."
These are all the thoughts that went through my head before I noticed Mega Gyarados. None of us are safe with that monstrosity around. I will laugh so hard if it gets something like Motor Drive.
And then I will cry rivers of blood.

Oh god I hope that rumor that these are all fake is true, some of them are so ugly holy shit. I mean some are cool, but I kind of feel like most of them just dont have that pokemon feel. I think Greninja is pretty well designed, whereas the grass starter final evolution just looks so weird and the fire one is just way too plain.
And some of them, like that flower fairy final stage and the rock with worms in it, that just cant be true, it looks so bad. Also there's like so few new ones.
Seriously if this is what I'll get on saturday I'll never touch a Pokemon game again

Seriously if this is what I'll get on saturday I'll never touch a Pokemon game again considering that nearly all of them come with pokedex entries from at least two independent leakers, I'm 99.9% certain they are real. The pokedex entry number for zygarde also shows 718 while chespin's is 650, and as you can see there are 69 pokemon present. Of course there will undoubtedly be more event legendaries, but even if there were ten of those, this gen is still the lowest in terms of new pokemon released.

I really hope that there is more new pokemon. Only 2 new ground types, and one is a legendary?
Most of the pokemon look terrible too. Heliolisk is awful, same with avalugg, hawlucha, diggersby, and many more I wouldn't even consider on my team. So far the only good ones that I see are the fossil pokemon, pancham/pangoro, skiddo and gogoat.
There also isn't any new pokemon that look like they would be in a cave, so expect more geodudes and Zoobats.
69 new pokemon is too little to warrant a new generation, but they probably know that people already complain about there being too many pokemon.
