on Sunday January 15th we are going to implement three new buildings: The Great barrack: The Great barrack allows you to build more units in the same time but they cost thrice the original amount. Costs for level 1: 630 | 420 | 780 | 360 | 4 The Great stable: The great stable allows you to build more units in the same time but they cost thrice the original amount. Costs for level 1: 780 | 420 | 660 | 300 | 5 The Tournament square: At the Tournament square your troops can train their stamina. The farther the building is upgraded the faster are your troops beyond a minimum distance of 20 squares. Costs for level 1: 1750 | 2250 | 1530 | 240 | 1 Best regards, your Travian Team ------------ All buildings requier their own building square. All troops are enhanced with an upgrade of the tournament square (up to 300%) not with an upgrade of the units themselves via the square. The great barrack/stable do not replace the old ones but can be build if you like to. The units cost thirce the amount of resources. Thus it is just an additional barrack/stable nothing more - no über-barrack/stable as many of you put it. But as you can have two barracks/stables after the 15th you can train units twice as fast if you have great and normal building at lvl 20. Prerequisites Great Barracks Barracks lvl 20 Main building lvl 20 Great Stable Stable lvl 20 Main building lvl 20 Tournament square Rally point lvl 10 Speed: 10% per lvl faster to a maximum of 200% faster (3 times faster thus), but first units have to walk 20 fields at normal speeds. After that the enhanced speeds comes into effect. Talk about increased raiding range... | ||

i thought it was mainly for expanding raiding, but now i realize it's for pure offensive attack as well. | ||
