Haha yeah I know your pain. It's very hard to deal with when you're new and you don't have a lot of the cards needed to build good decks. Even with some good cards it seems hard to play against. I also guess that some faction/hero combination are doing better against them, I don't know really my knowledge is pretty basic lol. But I've manage to beat one Ariana deck with Atropos using a somewhat basic Noboru Sanctuary deck with 2 Curses of the Netherworld, 1 Puppet Master and 1 Silent Death (that I didn't get to use). It felt pretty good, I'm so bad at this game that I make so many mistakes that cost me the game and I'm usually loosing a lot more than winning. I have a hard time getting to 600 elo xD. Also, it seems like a lot of people with good decks keep lowering their elo for more easy gold farming. It's much easier to get wins at low elo against new people with not enough cards.

Is there a place to make decks online, like NetrunnerDB.com , but for Magic?
It must have most cards(I have old cards) and automatically limit so you can't break the deck rules(I don't remember them).
I want to try playing a little again :D

hit t2 for the first yestarday feels good. went 8-0...was lucky not to hit amar as my deck isnt really good against it. Could have tried for t1 but didnt have much time so...

I hit 1001 at halfway through lvl 10. I didn't know about dark assassins, or dao pows until I got wrecked by them in the later levels. Still pretty fun game, and everything is free you just need to play, so that's right up my alley.

After playing for a couple weeks, I have to say there's very little to the community of the game, in the game. There's not any functions in game to sit around and chat, or guilds to at least tag yourself by, and without trading it sorta feels very... empty? I guess it's a similar argument to one I had for SC2 being sorta empty, and it had more stuff than DoC has.

I completely agree. Never thought I would miss the old IRC-styled chat rooms they used to have... Maybe if they added experience and gold for playing with friends? Or would that just be "abused" perhaps..?

Well you can chat with friends (1 by 1) but that's about it. I often talk with my opponents and we usually have a good time laughing at each others or giving some advises. Tho, I agree that a better chat faction while not in a game would be really awesome. Having some channels or something like that.

hello guys
I do have a question
I started to play this games some weeks ago and I am sitting at lvl 9 atm, that means my deck is not really good right now and I have still some questionable (bad) cards in my deck
I m one win away from elo 1000 and as I understand it its nearlly impossible to drop down elo 1000 again (unless u lose like 10 times in a row or sth stupid like that)
I want some better cards, is it easier to lower my elo to 500 or sth or should i keep playing?
and I m buying reinforcment packages atm, what can I do with my (blue) seals?

You'll have a much harder time farming above 1000 than 500. I choose to stay in the middle bracket and I have a fairly competitive Dhamiria Deck.

You can do what I did. I hit ~650 ELO at lvl 8, with Haven and finally had enough packs to make a Stronghold Deck (since they give you Kat after the campaign, I've been wanting to do this for a while).
Since then I've mostly been playing Stronghold and am now almost lvl 10 and elo... 530. I didn't do it on purpose, it's fun and keeps me from hitting too cutthroat of a playing bracket I think.
So unless you are dead set on your current deck, may as well 'tank' your elo by messing around with different decks/heroes now rather than later.

Is necro just hard counter to dhamiria or am I playing this wrong? Every time I get out anything it gets taken or killed while my low creatures are killed by spitters and walled by vampire knights/liches etc.
Discarding his hand with dhamiria ability isn't enough to remove all those different spells..

are you playing dhamiria fatties? you should only play your big creatures with event to protect them, also you have shi-no-shi right?

it's lacking shi-no-shi but i don't really know if that can turn around the problems since it costs so much to play.. I guess I need to fix up the events first.
I just find it completely strange how my ishuma "rush" deck with next to no rares/epics can easily breeze through necros but my main deck loses probably 70-80% of the time vs Arianna or Adar.
