I mistakenly bought a Herald of the void pack instead of a Forgotten Wars pack :|

Anyhow, I opened 1 pack + 9 boosters for 19 wildcards which I used to complete a Dhamiria Fatties deck. With a deck like deck, I'm going to see how I fare in the jackpot despite not having Forbidden Flame and the Caller of the Void in my deck.

Hmm, I miss 2 cards from the 2 first expansions, gate to nowhere and yukikos shrine, should I use wildcards to get them or not?zz

i think i'm doing that, at least for base set (freaking atropos/armagedon)

I feel like with all the nerfs to control and answers to necro recycle, rush decks are going to be even more prevalent. It certainly helps that everyone has 4 paos and 4 DAs now, too.

if im a new player whose previously bought 1 regular box and maybe 10-15 reinforcement packs and looking to improve inferno and stronghold decks which box should i spend my seals on? for my inferno deck i'd like more than the 1 ravager that i currently have and am lacking in 3 might ranged creatures.

for stronghold i need basically more of everything.

will probably be spending wildcards on paos and dark assassins.

Basically the strategy for new players wanting to play the starting faction (Inferno, Haven, Necropolis and Stronghold) is to buy reinforcement boosters and Herald of the void packs. If you've bought a normal box previously I suggest you buy the HoV one this time. That should help you going.

In other news, Might of Nature has a weird behavior ! Sometime it halves damage correctly, other time the creature dies because it takes the damage before mitigation. That fucking sucks.

for inferno, the best 3 might backline is the epic from void rising - "Caller of the Void"

stronghold, are you trying to make the kelthor deck? http://www.mmdoc.net/show_deck/9926/

there's also akamas surprise, either way, i think you need 4x "Black Skull Vulturerider", also from VR

if i were you, i would stick with base set until you have all the common/uncommons and then move to VR

i've been farming with "random garant" for about 3-4weeks

yeah picked up a kelthor in one of my packs so thought i'd make a stronghold deck, guess it's just a matter of how to distribute my seals/gold between base and VR packs/boxes.

I got Asalah, Invoker of Castigation, who seems completely awful. Creature enchants are worthless and you expect me to discard a card AND pay 2 to buff my creatures with enchants? Oh, and it's a creature buff ability on a hero that starts at 0 might? Who designed that crap?

Got Anael, Raya, and Time of Need as epics too. Time of Need would be a great card if it weren't for all the other better+cheaper ways to get uniques. Anael is a solid creature, but I don't play Haven. The popular Sandalphon deck doesn't go to 4 might anyway. Raya seems solid too, but Sanctuary is bleh.

You can make a otk with asalah, fortunes with some removal spells and pao's with enchantments for the finishing blow.

I got a strength trying to draft a forbidden flame ;(, anyways, the new xorm rush deck is ridiculous, with the gate u can get the worm on ur 3rd turn, and u dont really feel it much, u can still play gates, altar of wishes, DA's, paos, fireballs, the new creature that does dmg to u, and some of those imps that make u target em, its pretty sick, and if u can add a void arbiter, well, some very bad times, or good if ur xorm.
