Regarding the boss, you can cheese it pretty easily, and i think that is kind of necessary since you only got iron gear before you kill it. Firstly, save any bombs/grenades you found, they will be very helpful. The way we beat it was having a multistory house with a small balcony and beds inside. The ship appeared above, through soldier below and on the roof, and we could pop onto the balcony and shoot it with iron bow for ages until it died. Sometimes you take damage and have to sleep. | ||

Found a legendary sword on my second planet that does mediocre damage but swings super fast and shoots out poison cloud projectiles when I swing that I've been using to cheese monsters around corners, etc. and kill birds with. I'm impressed so far. As someone who couldn't really get into Terraria at all, I'm having a blast. It's probably partially helped by the SciFi theme, but the game is solid, even though it's still an early beta. I had one crash about 10 minutes into my first play session, but haven't crashed in 3 hours since. | ||
