Well I guess that's it for this game then.
This is the really shallow, inexperienced point of view that most people get at first glance. I hope you'll give the game a bit more of a chance ^_^

That's what Cel.erity's video led me to believe. Unfortunately, can't pay online for the moment. I also hate grinding. I'd rather not spend 50 hours on an online game just to make it mildly entertaining for a bit. Are there any redeeming features in the game?

well lets just say in LoL I can have a ton of fun with just the free and the 450 ip champions even though the 6300 ip ones are nice. 50 hours alot? guess youve never played a mmo... you dont even need those for some strategies that are still completely functional

I don't play MMOs precisely because it's just grinding. I enjoy games that take skill. Starcraft. FPS games. Even Dota-like games would be fine (not that I play them). Which is why I don't want to grind out 50 hours on this game. I want to know if, despite all this, would this game still interest me?

Can add me: Yiruru - Academy
If you enjoy skill based games, this game honestly isn`t for you. The only skill in this game is understanding probability and playing cards that give you the highest chance of winning.
I believe tournaments will have a 200~300 DP limit eventually though, so the grinding isn't that bad. The key is getting 200 wins so you can get free Mats =]

I think the fact that you don't see this kind of card game normally is interesting enough to warrant a few hours of play. There are definitely plenty of strategies that don't require 50 hours of grinding (I've only been playing for a few days, and that's not been even close to 4 hours a day). If you're not into grinding MMOs (which is basically every Korean MMO), then it's going to be difficult to really get into a Korean MMO
Cinia being adorable is also a plus for the game, in my opinion.

Cute girls are a plus, yes. I suppose I'll keep at it for a few more hours, see how it goes.

I can see this game isn't for everyone though. I know I'll probably treating this only casually, as in building the deck up on my pace, since I'm certain I lack the focus to focus-grind toward competitive levels.

This is basically how I'm doing it. I'm pretty sure that at my pace, I'll just keep up with the dungeons as they are released, which is perfect for me.

how do they rank your games, like how are you supposed to win a game with an A rating?
|
Remind me to put forced entry(s) into my deck so I can hurt those slot 3 Crux users. Badly.

Ranks are entirely dependent on how long a match lasted, and I believe the opponent will get an E rank for not touching your life points or an F rank for leaving the match.
This is just a rough estimate from what I've seen, but it's held true most of the time:
Drop out: F Rank Untouched LP: E Rank 1-3 turns: D Rank 4-6 turns: C Rank 7-10 turns: B Rank 11-?? turns: A Rank
There is an S Rank, but I've yet to get one.

S-rank is decking them out.

So I just started out as Darklore and it's been fun so far. Is my immediate goal just to grind out each dungeon 10x while collecting crafting mats?

your immediate goal is to build a deck of mostly commons which can beat each dungeon 10x first
a VR deck with a bunch of cheap size 1 followers will do the trick

I just assumed it was decking out cause everytime I've decked them out I've gotten S. Maybe its 15+?

All the starter decks have a few bad cards that can be replace with something better immediately. The starter decks have a very random feel to them. Putting in a few better common and uncommon spells in your deck as fast as possible improves your deck immensely. Then the spells will give you an idea of what followers you want to start replacing.
