You should really give it a chance, Dark souls is a great game. Anyways when its released I will be playing it and let those who care know how it is. If there is any bugs or problems etc etc. I will be playing with a Keyboard/Mouse even though I played the 360 version for awhile. | ||

As someone else already stated, even if it's a subpar port as long as it's playable it will still end up being one of the best games of the year hands down. Just buy it man, both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are 2 of the best games to come out in a long long time. | ||

The Ninja Blade port was outsourced. Locked resolution and frame-rate are terrible, what is the last 3D game you've played with a locked resolution? Luckily there is an easy way to fix the resolution, which shows how little From knows about the PC platform, else it would have been fine from the beginning. Even with GFWL you can easily hack in any items you want with a simple hex editor, which could make being invaded not very fun. Hopefully From gets their act together for the next Souls game, because it's a shame such a fantastic game has such bad issues. | ||

There seems to be ample indications that the port will be lacking in several areas, much judging from the info released by the developer. Good ports are rare and I'd be shocked if the jury would pass this as a good one in the following days when people get their hands on it. Doesn't mean it's not a good game or not worth playing but the bar gaming companies have set for ports are so low atm that it's getting easy to confuse a mediocre to average port with something actually good. I'm happy if I get to play it without any glaring flaws, as you point out, the game itself is well worth it regardless. | ||
