Im moving to sri lanka in may and im wondering if i should pre-order it digitally for the beta access or just leave the money for family to buy and ship it to me. (which would be cheaper xD) This is just because of exchange rates between UK-SL..
Basically i'll be setup mid-june, will i have preordered for early access i wont get? ^_^ You cannot connect with a EU account in US not sure how it is with SEA. I would advice you to not buy one from UK as it will most likely not let you play when you get there. You CAN however play WITH EU ppl from outside of EU just you need to BE in the correct area.

Nighfall was my favorite by far, the only thing that i hated was kormir. that &%¤.!"# + Show Spoiler +I killed the dark god that was going to destroy the world etc etc and at the end who became 1 of the human gods ? me ? noooooooooooooooooo, that &%¤#" Kormir that just standed there with his spear watching how my whole party wiped by hordes of demons and horrible things... dam she even watched, i think she is blind!!!
.....i feel better now... dont forget to get that phoenix at the final map of factions. you are doing great. keep playing
Lol yea I was thinking the same thing while she was just standing around doing nothing, watching (hearing?) me wiping over and over.
I didn't have any charm skills to get the Phoenix when I was there, so I'll have to go back for that one. Thanks!
Oh! I forgot about Eye Of The North. Still gotta complete that one too. Starting to realize that finishing the campaigns is only really the very beginning of the HoM rewards though. It's quite hard to gauge how long it's going to take you when you just see a list of things to do like: 1) Get Black Moa, 2) Get Elite Armor, 3) Get Black Widow, etc.
On another note - has anyone been playing around with this build calculator for GW2? - http://www.gw2builds.org/
edit - Here's my idea for a pvp thief build, with good synergy between pistol and dagger switching.

Works for me. =D

I think it would be amazing if you could save preset builds (including both weapon sets, skills, elite skills and traits) for quick switching in PvP. Sort of like rune and mastery pages in LoL. If you realize that you're up against a team comp in arranged PvP that counters your build, or you're forced to play a different role than usual in WvWvW, or whatever, it would be great to shave that time off and just jump to a pre-prepared build.
They may already have this feature, I'm not sure, but I haven't seen it.
I like the way you can just get your build code in GW1 and share it with anyone at any time.

Arenanet posted on twitter that any rumours about them having a stress test this Friday the 20th are false.
Aw.

Yea I just spotted that too.
Doesn't mean that it wont be a BWE though.. (keeping hopefull)

don't really belief in this weekend, but while there's life, there's hope. How many HoM points do our GW1 veterans have atm? Stopped like half a year ago at 32 points, mainly because I've spent basically all my money on that damn zaishen-thingy

i like it, i dont know how long you will be flanking while using pistols,Flanking Critical Chance and Flanking Strikes looks more like some traits just for daggers. i dont know how long is the daze when stealing of "Sleigt of hands" will see if its worth it to use a Major Trait for it. Seems that you try to do as much damage as posible with pistols and then you will try to go for the kill switching to dagger. its that for pvp ? thiefs have just 1 utility skill to remove conditions, maybe you can change infiltrator's signet, you have 2 teleporting skills (shadow shot and stealing) i also like the dagger storm, ppl forget that it reflects projectiles. Basilisk is a stun, maybe will be usfull to use it before swapping to dagger, that will secure some flaking hits (Heartseeker hopefully) for some nice damage.
here is my build for thiefs, is extremly cheese and I just will spam 1 and 3 with dual pistols and switching to pistol/dagger to get some distance and crippling if needed. Traits to get a higher crit chance and extra damage. The point is to just spam 1 and when you have full initiative (15 points traited) you use Unload. Lead Attacks will give it a nice 20% more damage, Combined Training increases its damage as well and Combo Crit Chance and First Strikes will give a high chance of crit. Other traits are for faster initiative. 2 defensive utilities and 1 offensive and the healing skills have short cd and gives a quick way to get some distance. Basilisk when coordinating a stun chain with some allie.

cheese i now but hey, its war.

That looks like a pretty solid build. Lot's of cc. Not much stealth but I guess the extra damage and conditions makes up for that. I like the traits a lot actually. 10/25/10/25 seems like it would be pretty viable, as opposed to the 30/30/10 that I've been using so far. edit- also, Basilisk Venom does seem like an amazing elite, I'm just not sure how long the 'stone' lasts for.
Yes, my build is meant for pvp. My reasoning for it is: you initiate at range with pistol/dagger, preferably from a flanking position, apply some conditions, switch to dagger/pistol, then jump in with skill 3, allowing you to deal melee damage (with traited crits and lots of heartseeker strikes). After that, if your opponent is low, they'll likely start to run away. You can then use your off-hand dagger skill 4 to cripple them from range and finish them off. Your weapon switch will be off cooldown by now, so even if the situation is no longer in your favor, you can switch back to pistol/dagger and shadowstep away with skill 3, or stealth away with your heal.
I thought of a pvp ranger build too, designed for long range skirmishing and ally support. Given that a lot of battles in arranged pvp will be clustered up groups fighting over points, the ranger can take up an 'overwatch' position with the longbow, which does extra damage on it's auto attack, the further away you are. Then all the main skills and traits are based on keeping your distance, while providing support to those who are in the thick of it and your pet can join in on the action too, dealing damage and reviving downed team mates.
