But since Sim City is a game where you always attempt to challenge yourself, and there is no "end goal" apart from your self-imposed challenges, these sorts of bugs don't ruin the game.

So it's not an issue for players that don't abuse the low tax happiness. What. That's like saying... Ok, I'm stumped. I actually sat here for 5 whole minutes trying to think of a game where there was a completely abusable strategy that everyone agreed was good if you didn't do that, and I couldn't think of one. Not a single game. Like, I really can't think of any other game that is even considered decent that has a broken strategy.

You can get that raw population though. edit: confirming it yeah you do get the population at 500k atm but the place is consistently on fire. Also you can't have power or water because then residence get put on sale if you don't give them anything they wont move out and put the building on sale.

I've been running a city for about 2 hours now outside of sandbox mode and stuck around 800k because of fire, the city is always on fire all the time. Although oddly enough you have to not give them power or water because if you do they abandon the house much quicker and you don't get the population lol. It also has to be done essentially on a new region if there are other cities connected you get too much traffic off the visitor bug

overall the game is pretty much dumbed down from sc4, those are the cons the pro is that it's awesome and relaxing game. If i dont think of sc but more of a farmville it's perfect

This would allow two people to feel like they were working on the same city as well in a way that made sense, or it would allow players to work on their own private cities in a more satisfying way. Agreed. You would want one "mayor" like Bloomberg, for example, and then five or 6 city planners for each borough. But lets wait until they fix what's broken before adding more ![]()
