I guess these kinds of cities need the aracology or other cities in the region). I think I am going to start a new city and get a recycling center asap. I would like to make a city in a region with other players but because EA turned off the filters finding open spots in regions is damn impossible. If any TLers would like to invite me to their region (Orcasgt22 on origin) that would be cool. Or I could make a private one and invite you guys Oh they released a new item to DL from origin. Its a Nissan Leaf charging station. Its free to DL and provides happiness to the entire city. 5k to build and can make 5 of them. No power, sewage,water or pollution is generated by it. Adding it acctually reduces air pollution from cars because Sims will be driving the Leafs instead. Up keep is 100 and its absolutly worth it to plop 5 of these in your city at various locations. i tried making a city without export of oil ore or coal and straight to recycle (since land had no natural resources). it worked out. once you get past the threshold to afford processor plant (by exporting recycle, education up, few mid tec industries), you'll be set from there. as for traffic there are tips on youtube, one thing that helped me is use T section instead of intersection, use medium density road to avenue to eliminate traffic light which reduces traffic (this was extremely helpful with my last city build). careful with the nuclear plant, after two meltdowns i will never use it again lol | ||

I mean it never fucking rains it that game and 5 minutes after placing a water plant the area dries up... they say you have like 50 months worth of water and 5 mins later its over lol. do you guys have any clues / solutions or once theres no more water in your region its gg?? does it mean that after 8 hours of gaming your tiny square of a city is dry and done? | ||

Good thing is that the spot left is a decent one. Also, the 16 city maps are just 4 4-city maps. Reflection Atoll is a 7-city map, which is a little better. | ||
