I would be really happy with a remake of Baldur's Gate 2, to 2012 standards. Same characters, same voices, just better graphics and a newer engine. HERESY the infinity engine was very nice , wonderfull background and spell effects , and the modding capabilitys and the stability on even modern operating systems is unmatched. Baldurs gate 2 even runs on Vista.

And the main thing i hope this game will NOT be is short. Short playthrough time is what plagues so many modern RPGs. In the first place Deux Ex :Human Revoltion and Witcher2 : Assassins of Kings. Those 2 games are pretty good but you feel they are kinda unfinished and really short. Almost the same goes for the repetitive but nonetheless short Mass Effect 1/2. Skyrim is a pretty nice one though, but it lacks smth I can't really find words for yet. So to sum it up it'd like to see the atmosphere and the longevity of BG2 adventures intact with better graphics , some more inter-party interactivity and possibly teamfight improvements.

Hopefully the scenario will be epic, and the gameplay will be similar to "old school" RPGs such as Baldur's gate & Icewind Dale, and we know, they know, that's what the real fans want. Hopefully they won't drop the ball.
