Considering picking them up in a few of my fantasy leagues. Absolutely grab their defense. It is for real. They have held opponents to less than 20 points for their past 12 games.

I liken the Cardinals to the 49ers. Shitty ass QB with a few playmakers, but an under appreciated defence that can win games.

The NFL is just covering its ass in the lamest way possible with the no indisputable video evidence argument. They're trying to skirt around admitting they blew that call and blew the subsequent review. The only call on that play they admitted to blowing was the offensive PI that can't be reviewed.
I've been on Goodell's sides a few times but I'm now convinced it's time for him to go.

It doesn't make them look any better to say that the call they missed can't be reviewed. It shouldn't have to be reviewed, on a play like that you have to see the PI and call it. It nullifies the play and completely removes the need to determine who had possession of the ball in the end zone.
Their "release" is a whole lot of text that still says "We fucked up, but not in the way you thought, so it's OK."

Seahawk fans are coming across as sleezy and dishonorable. They should be a little ashamed. No one is trying to take away your win because you didn't win. Everyone lost.
lol, what do you want seahawks fans to do? Grovel and beg for forgiveness?
I think almost all of us have already admitted that the last call was a terrible call... you can't really expect more than that. It was the refs that misjudged the play, not the fans. The fans have nothing to be ashamed about. I mean, it sucks to win this way, and I wish we hadn't, but it happened nonetheless. The only ones who should really be ashamed are the refs, who made the call, and the NFL organization who have failed to bring in the original officials.

Since when is college football honest? As a USC fan I would have to agree college football is as honest and pure as they come. And just because your school engages in some dirty shady behavior, don't throw all other schools in the same kettle and state we all are dirty.
As a Penn State fan, I concur.

It is quite ironic for the fans of schools that had corruption to say that it is not the norm. How many top tier college schools have been caught now? I think the occasional honest school would be the actual exception.
Regarding the NFL, I am a Washington fan that is completely fed up with the black comedy that this season has been so far. After week 1 I have taken a perverse joy in every bad call the replacement refs make. I love the football and the Redskins, but next Sunday I will be watching the Nationals because the only thing that matters to the NFL is if people are still watching.

rofl at no point is that anything close to simultaneous possession holy shit. the db grabs it first, tate grabs his arms (not even the fuckin ball) when he is laying on top of him.
shit the still frames show it clear as day
it was a horrid non call on the pi, then an even worse td call by the judge who doesnt have a clear view, and a shit review.

Absolutely terrible statement. The NFL is a fucking joke and just furthers the comedy show that is American sports.

Roger Goodell is no good for sure but having him removed doesnt change anything. Theres a reason why he got a contract extension. His constituents, which is NOT the general public, but the owners love him or something.
If the owners cared enough about their product they would have told him to pay the refs already.
Owners are too focused on the profits.

Owners have every financial incentive to hold the line until things start affecting their bottom line. Personally, I'm done watching until the regular refs are back. Granted that is easier for me than for some others, since college fb is what I care more about.

But the Niners are finally good and they've got the Jets I can't do that

The future bottom line is already affected. People are watching now because it's a spectacle, but that will get old fast and the idea that the league is a farce is already in people's minds and it has to color future thinking, it already was a league not on stablest standing going into this year too.

What I meant is this. The statement clearly attempts to avoid making a decision on whether that should have been an interception or touchdown. They are hiding behind the call on the field and saying there is no evidence to overturn. They blew the call and blew the review but are trying to neither admit it nor stand behind their incorrect calls. Then, in an attempt to mollify critics and hide the incompetence of their review officials, they decided to admit that they missed a call that cannot be reviewed.
It's obviously not working since I'm even more pissed off after hearing their stupid explanation.

Im pretty happy I didn't bet money on that packers game lol gg
