that looks harsher every time i see it. I hope nfl just fucking makes some lee way and gets the real refs back, it's hard enough bitching about bad reffing when the refs are competent it's just a sad story doing it now. That's what happens when you let someone get their helmet right under your chin...

In one aspect, I'm glad the NFC West should get more respect this year... but at the same time that just means it will be harder for my hawks to get in the playoffs. I guess it will never again be as easy as that 7-9 playoff season mwahaha Honestly, whether or not that hit is legal, its still a dick move. Lee wouldn't have had much of a play on Wilson anyway, all it would take is a simple block, not a decapitation shot

Wasn't helmet to helmet, wasn't a chop block and wasn't an earhole. He just got laid the fuck out by not paying attention. Which lead to a very violent hit and not only that a flag was called against the cowboys for a late two handed touch of the ball returner, called under what was it unnecessary roughness =p.

If that's the case why are we wearing pads? Just give them flags and tell them to go make their millions that way.

Even though that was a clean hit, didn't hit the head and was all chest. Defenseless defender rule comes into play here. The guy wasn't watching and had no reaction to the hit until he woke up on the Cowboys sideline. This can go either way, it was a clean hit all the way up to this year. That's the key. Was legal last year, not so much this year. It looks violent, because its well football. I don't consider him defenseless since he was taking part in the vicinity of the play. How else would you block him, Tate saw a chance went with it.
