He didn't say that. Reread the sentence -- he was saying the Cowboys got a new cover corner to cover (Hakeem) Nicks, then pointed out the eagles have Asomugha to cover Hakeem (Nicks). He's pointing out the competition in the division have the talent to cover him.

I'm not sold on Claiborne, though. Cruz had him and Carr beat most of the night, he just dropped the passes.

Not surprising at all.

SO many of his highlights last year involved him bobbling an easily catchable pass and then recovering and running into the endzone. The guy showed last year he has horrible hands, and showed that again tonight. I think Cruz is terribly overrated, and I'm glad he proved me correct tonight.

I think the Gmen are going to miss the reliability of Manningham, especially with how well Claiborne covered Nicks and Asomugha to cover Hakeem as well. Might be tough for the Giants this year

I was obnoxiously yelling this all night at the giants bar i was at.

So many of his TDs seemed to be lucky plays. He's by no means bad, but Nicks is lightyears better than him.

Lol didn't see what GTR said before his edit, oh well.

Yeah, Claiborne didn't totally lock down his side, but given that was his first game I was fairly impressed. There were a few plays last night (especially when he was in press coverage) where I felt like he showed glimpses of serious skill. A couple times he let them get a step knowing he had safety coverage (almost like he was playing for the INT opportunity) which I think was more a sign of his inexperience (in college, QBs will miss that small window along the sideline infront of the safety). I think the guys going to be a stud.

I'm not a huge cowboys fan, but it seems like having Carr/Claiborne on the corners is going to help Rob Ryan do a lot more with that defense. On the flip side, the Giants secondary looks ravaged and in serious trouble going forward. Playing your 5/6th corners is never ideal so they weren't at full strength, but even their safeties were playing pretty poorly and weren't inspiring confidence.

Also, JPP is a beast.

The Giant secondary is average at best when healthy. That line makes everyone forget how mediocre they are.

They're fucking awful right now because of injuries

Omg dat feel in Madden. Playing as Indianapolis, with Luck, the first three seasons had negative TD:INT ratios, so been pretty shockingly bad against all-pro. But finally I had a good game with 9 TDs thrown and 0 INT haha, 154.9 rating, finally some redemption and I don't have to see the fake twitter thing with Skip Bayless insulting me yet again :D. It's all thanks to a tight end I drafed somewhere in the 3rd round who is 6ft 7" with 90 catching straight off the bat, in this game he received 372 yards and got 6 TDs haha.

So, I'm playing in two leagues this year. It's only my second year playing fantasy football and I don't really know what I'm doing haha. Anyways, these are my squads:
Team 1
+ Show Spoiler +
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Jamaal Charles KC
RB LeSean McCoy PHI
WR Greg Jennings GB
WR Mario Manningham SF
TE Brandon Pettigrew DET
W/R WR Santana Moss WAS
K Jason Hanson DET
DEF Seattle Seahawks

Team 1 Bench
QB Andy Dalton CIN
RB Tim Hightower WAS
RB Fred Jackson BUF
RB Brandon Jacobs
TE Brent Celek
DEF Cincinatti Bengals

Thoughts? Too deep on RBs ? Thinking about trying to trade Hightower for something I need more.

Team 2
QB Drew Brees NO
RB Darren McFadden
RB Ahmad Bradshaw NYG
WR Roddy White ATL
WR Antonio Brown PIT
TE Jason Witten DAL
W/R WR Brandon Marshall CHI
K Dan Bailey DAL
DEF New York Giants

Team 2 bench
QB Andrew Luck IND
RB Toby Gerhart MIN
RB Felix Jones
WR Kenny Britt TEN
WR Steve Johnson
TE Brent Celek PHI

I feel better about htis team. I'm I picked up some nice WRs and I got Gerhart and Jones that I'm gonna try and chip off the a RB hungry team for something more valueable.

I'd appriciate your help, I still don't really grasp fantasy football yet.

I don't like the WRs on your first team so much. I would definitely play Fred Jackson over Manningham and/or Moss, even if CJ Spiller does eat into Jackson's numbers this year. Crabtree is thus far the only 49er WR I would trust in my line-up, until you see a decent game from Manningham.

Your second team is too beastly, that it has to be an 8 man league I would think. If DMC stays healthy and the Giants can give Ahmad more to work with (because it looked bad last night), that'll be a monster team.

They are both 10 team leagues. Everyone pretty much went QB and TE crazy in the second teams league so I had a nice time picking up the rest. And thanks for the advice on Fred Jackson. The flex spot is one of the things I don't really grasp.

The first team doesn't look as deep as the second. How did you get both Rodgers and McCoy, though? Charles and Jennings both seem like they fell, too.

I picked early for rodgers and people just derped picking Brady, Brees, Hernandez, Gronkowski; megatron etc before McCoy. Kinda wished it was a keeper league haha

Your wide receivers on team 1 are pretty weak imo. Jennings should produce decently, but Manningham not so much. The 49ers are still likely going to be a run first team, and as of now Moss got the starting job opposite Crabtree over Manningham.

Brandon Jacobs isn't a great get either. He'll get some work, but Gore is still their go to guy. Not to mention in a PPR league Jacobs is even less valuable. I'd get rid of him for a wide receiver, and probably look to move hightower as well. Hang on to Manningham to see if the Moss experiment works out, but I'd look to get a better WR to take your #2 spot, and have Manningham as your reserve WR.

On Team 2 I'd play Steve Johnson over Antonio Brown, he's the Bills' best target, and was pretty productive last year.

Having one off game proves he's terribly over-rated? Get out of here. How many Giants games did you watch last season? He's fantastically talented.

I'm a giants fan and believe me, we all know how subpar the secondary is.

Rolle and Phillips are solid, but our corners are not so good.

Webster at times is solid, he can be good man to man, but he's inconsistent.

With Prince injured and TT injured, I just hope our secondary doesn't get blown up too bad.

The giants main concern is the O line.

Our O line has 0 push and Diehl's prime is way gone.

Giants really need to draft a stud O linemen. it's a real concern.

the giants have a lot of concerns and superbowl champs or not they will struggle to barely make it out of the division. i wont be surprised if they miss the playoffs and have a losing season 7-9 or something
