Either use an A Gundam for normal missions or some well-upgraded B one.

Also, the lock-on feature isn't that useful when playing against other people because it's easy to avoid the shots then. I never use it.

I am very disappointed in a game that seemed so popular in Japan @_@. It feels so outdated compared to the games with we've been enjoying in the states lol.

Playing on anything above normal is HELL without high level/good gundams... Like Lunar Base on Normal... I've only been able to do that with a team of 3+ snipers all going insane.

I was like isn't it the same as Strike/Astray? but I looked it up and realized they replaced the OPCan with a melee combo, lol.
I'm not sure the exact combo but I'd imagine you can swap from 1 to 3 midcombo, like 1111333 (as 5th #1 and last #3 knockdown) to get something close to a 7 hit combo that inflicts boost-down (empties their boost gauge), so it might be ok if you can consistently get into melee range?

Yep, that's right..but you also need to 1v1 which rarely happens in PvP, and that's the problem. The unit really needs to be somewhat beefier.

So what good is Mastery? I'm capped at 6000 and have no idea what I can do with it. Have had some luck with capsules; got a Buster and Psycho. Not too fond of the Buster personally, but Psycho is an absolute beast.

Eventually you can get empty exp packs that you charge with mastery exp. Most of the early exp packs don't require charging IIRC.

The biggest problem I have with the game at the moment is just that group pvp (clan pvp) is sucky because there aren't many (any?) clans entering queue... so you end up with these random team games where you have no RSP coordination :[

Edit:
Also the lives count is pretty nice. Having 2 Strike lives to 4 LaGOUE lives can be scary hahah.

I'm normally using G-3 Gundam at the moment(strong melee, beam rifle and vulcan). It's pretty nice. So I can certainly understand where you come from ;-)

btw: How do you attack someone while he is knocked-down? Or how do you special-attack someone while he is using his own special attack(range).

Funnel makes me jelly though. Dreadnaught such a pain, I'm torn between going for Gold Amatsu and Dreadnaught next, although I'm out of space so sort of tempted to buy some extra storage space too _-_

Edit:
You can't hit someone knocked down, hence why you try to prolong combos.
Not sure about specialing someone already in a special animation, I dun think you can.
