Thats why I joined Loners. They are the only ones taking this seriously. They are the only ones willing to actually make this a PvP server and not a carebear server.

The only bitching I see is coming from you. This isn't Ultima Online, DAoC, Darkfall, or Starcraft. It's Minecraft. A game where everything revolves around mining and crafting. That's something you should realize.
I don't mind the PvP, it's actually pretty fun. But that fun gets ruined by people like you who think they're the hottest shit ever because they killed a couple people. It's just MINECRAFT bro so chill out.

WoW doesn't make you lose your items on death.
Most PvP in WoW takes place in instances.

What I do give a shit about is how up their own asses Loners come across whenever they write anything, be it in ingame chat or in this thread, you guys can't seriously wonder why everyone hates you when you talk down at everyone else on the server despite not actually knowing what goes on.
My faction participates in pvp and raids almost daily, but you don't know about it because we don't shove it down everyones throats. And damn right no-one wants to attack Loners, there are like fucking 30 of you who are online 24/7, that would be the stupidest move anyone on the server in any faction could do when they are outnumbered so heavily, but we have defended our allies from you in the past and we would do so again if we had to, we are organised and hell I'd probably say we're better than you.

You must not think skill required is taken into account of something hardcore then, because minecraft is just aiming your mouse at someone's general direction and spam-clicking.
Also, instanced PvP vs World PvP has nothing to do with casual/hardcore.
PvP in WoW actually is based on resources, it's just that you acquire those resources through either PvE or PvP (but mostly PvP), where most people acquire resources in minecraft through PvE (although PvP is also an option for acquiring resources).
So it comes down to losing relatively easy to get items on death (for large factions) against actual skill required in PvP combat. I'm not saying WoW PvP is difficult or compared to games like Starcraft, Counterstrike, or even DotA games, but it is definitely more difficult than minecraft. You can disagree on that making it more hardcore, but at least don't deny the fact that it is more difficult.

I'm not confusing the two at all, I believe skill required is one of the most important factors in determining hardcoreness. Then there's the other camp though that thinks it's time spent on the game, who I couldn't disagree with more, but that's a different argument.

I don't have a problem with Loners but you guys have 24 members. Even when you guys dipped to 40/40/240 power yesterday you still had 7 members online, which was more than any faction online at the time. It's an uphill battle for most of us currently. You probably won't see any opposition for a bit.

We honestly don't think "we're all that" atleast the majority of Loners knows as a fact that there is soo many times were we've lucked out and survived simply because of that.

Please don't try to justify your flaming/trashtalking here as if they're actually good things that benefit the server. It's one thing to do it on the server, which has it's own more lenient rules/moderation, but don't degrade these forums with generic trolling since you can obviously avoid it.

It's probably because anyone can spend mad amounts of time talking trash/flaming/trolling in a heated situation, and then later say "oh it was just a joke, lighten up buddy!"
True or not, it just isn't something most people are going to take kindly to and accept "oh you said you were just kidding, no issue then you can say whatever you want in the heat of the moment as long as you admit you were just kidding later" as an acceptable attitude. It's behavior you'd expect from children.
I think most people enjoy PVP on the server though, it is a TL PvP server after all, which is all about competition.
