Hmm... toughest bosses? Seph from ff7, i don't have ribbons so his gay ass spell that makes my entire party useless with status effects like frog made him incredibly tough :/ The trek back down to his hell hole is such a long ass trip, I haven't gone back to finish the game since my 2nd loss to him. Grrrr...! The battle with sin in ffx 10 when hes flying above the city and you need to kill him b4 he pulls off his limit break or whatever its called is nigh impossible unless you waste several hours finding all the hidden aeons/gfs/pokemon knockoffs/whatever they're called. I'm lazy when it comes to rpgs, side quests are a pain in the ass
My first fight ever vs lavos from chrono trigger is another memorable one, that I eventually did win after several attempts.
@nortorius: miguel is pretty tough, but he's nothing compared to dario or the chriosphinx

Your all wrong the hardest boss fight ever is Mike Tyson back on Mike Tysons punch out for NES. He will knock you out about 100000000 times b4 u beat him and when you finaly do beat him your tumbs will be bleeding.

i will trump all answers:
lenneth, 4d mode, star ocean 3
ohhh shit
|
Nightmare1/2/3 and Mondus1/2 in devil may cry dante must die mode. Those fight last forever and 2~4 hit from them kill you.
|
infact, 4d mode star ocean 3 may be the most difficult console game mode ever as well.
|
im playing star ocean 3 now... and i just got to the 4d space (jumped out of the screen through the time gate) but wtf is 4d mode..? edit: also how do you get universe mode?

you gain universe and 4d mode by gaining enough battle trophies. i dont remember the bonus universe mode gives (i think its something like double hp/mp?) but 4d mode gives double to every stat and like 3x stat bonus to hidden bosses. lenneth and freya are almost impossible

oshit...also everyone says that game has like 80 hours of gameplay but I'm more than halfway through the main story in like...19 hours...so where is the extra 40 gonna come from after I kill the creator and all that :0?

the story definitely isn't the strength of it, the added difficulty levels really make it fun

Legion from Shadow Man(N64)
|
Your all wrong its obviously Vesuvius from Final Fantasy Tactics ><! and right before you fight him theres a funny game save option where if you used it and you arent strong enough to kill him yet you cant just go back to the world map OMG
Oh also from Xenogears that one giant guy Dues is a bitch with his half hp every attack move
oh ok and sepheroth in kingdom hearts is pretty godly, you have to be at least level 97-100 to kill him, luckily I was bored around the time that game came out and I've got 100% completion ^^ (btw if you cant beat him make sure your carrying as many elixirs as possible on sora for when he hits you with that angel attack thats takes you down to 1 HP 0 MP
... ok so lets just agree that square makes the baddest damn bosses around :D

you can say that, but you'd be wrong. the only end boss in a square game that didn't utterly dissapoint was the deus conglomoration in xenogears. everything else was far too easy, especially anything from the final fantasy series...hell, even their "super-difficult" hidden bosses are more of just a test on whether or not you can exploit certain items as opposed to being genuinely difficult.
the demogorgon from bg2:tob, now there was a truly difficult fight. same thing with shangalaar before the expansion pack.

there was a boss in planescape torment that i had no chance at all against but i dont remember the name -_- you know that game reaver?
|
Count Dracula in Castlevania for NES. All I remember is beating him in his first form was really hard, but then he turns into some big white monster that I could never beat.
