In my personal opinion, the Beast Rune @ the end of Suikoden II was the hardest boss I've ever beaten in an RPG. I got very lucky on my third time facing him and pulled out a win :o Other notable difficult bosses would be the Sigma series in most megaman games for SNES. EDIT: Almost forgot Miguel from Chrono Cross. Dear god that old man was tough. (Holy dragon sword vs Lynx [a black element] = 600 dmg?) | ||

If you're really struggling, you should check a site like gamefaqs that has dedicated faqs to how to beat Sephiroth. He's the easiest way to get to lvl 100 w/ 18k xp per win (about two levels every three runs once you hit lvl 90 if I remember correctly). | ||

I didn't play Kingdom Hearts thoroughly but yeah Seph was FUCKING hard on that game. [ Friend's PS2 ] Seriously, my friend was like lvl 80 and I couldn't beat it [ I played the majority of his account ] I could beat ice golem and everything else first try pretty easily but man Seph is freakin hard. The hardest villain I've ever fought on a game is probably Ruby or Emerald weapon. But it's probably because I was around 8 years old and never bothered with a strat guide or online guide. And I agree Xenogears/saga bosses are pretty hard. Ganondorf on Zelda:Ocarina of time was a bitch to get to as well. That freakin maze omg. Kefka on FF3/6 was pretty gay to get to as well. A tower where you can't use spells and there's like 50 levels. Some bosses from Secret of Mana and Breath of Fire were hard as well. Ehrgeiz if you've ever played the bonus rpg game that comes with it is hard. Megaman X's Sigma was pretty easy. Actually I downloaded a speed run of that game and the dude beats it just a less than an hour. When I was around 10 I could beat it in EXACTLY one hour. Too bad I sold my Snes ;< The most fun I've ever had fighting a boss was Devil May Cry 2. Every boss fight was art. | ||

That tower was for the Magimaster I believe (to get the gem box or economizer, I forget). I hated how you had to have Life3 (in my experience) for that battle for when he casts Ultima because you have no chance at survivng. On April 25 2005 19:07 Ack1027 wrote:. Actually, I think you got it backwards. You could only use spells in that area. Wearing Wall Rings for entire party helps. Btw, who are Penance and Nemesis in FFX? I don't seem to recall. | ||
