Most people start beating him at around level 65 to get to lvl 100 easily. I have no idea how you managed to get to level 97 without beating him (Ice golem I'm guessing).

Event 51 w/ Gigabowser accompanied by lvl 9 Mewtwo and lvl 9 Ganandorf. Most people use Jigglypuff against them for her down+b move that easily gets rid of Gigabowser. I personally thought Event 50 was harder (the one with Master and Crazy hand).

As reaver mentioned , None of the enemies in any of the FF ever were difficult - All it took was patience and knowledge../ I mean theres nothings too hard about hitting X and up or down a few times :p. For all those ppl who thought seph was hard at the end - Shame on you. Also killing the weapons with 255 stats owned =] The moves they usually do for 9999 dmg do only a few K dmg, With regen on - pretty much gone instantly =].

Hardest boss ive come across was on baldurs gate 1 : TOTSC
The demon that gets summoned near top right of map (my god why cant i remember the place, loved that game =[ ) That was a bastard to kill --;

1st. First encounter with Gades in Lufia 2; a fight you aren't even supposed to win. In order to win, you need to be atleast at level 40, if you fight him without having exped like a maniac, your level is at around 25.

2nd. The Lufia 2 Egg Dragon, I've only defeated him once, in Gift mode, since it takes sooo long time to complete his quest (that you need to complete in order to battle him). When i fought him all my chars where lvl 99(gift mode equals 4x more exp) so he was not too hard. However i can't imagine how annoying he must be on lvl ~60.(The level you are at when you've complete the game in story mode)

I personally thought FF8 was perhaps the easiest game created by Square =]. The magic system was silly - Some of the magic itself was silly - The story sucked

and omega wasnt even hard =]

Omega weapon in FF5. You've got like 2 turns before he kills all your characters. I think the biggest part of me winning that battle was luck.

A lot of the bosses in xenogears are mad hard to beat if you're not prepared for them. One of the better RPGs around, with a good story and all.

FFTactics was another bitch. I never finished this one and almost killed myself out of frustration at getting stuck at one boss then finally beating it then getting stuck at another

I couldn't beat one of the sonics though. I would get to the death star then get decimated by either robot sonic or robotnic. I was like 10 at the time though. Maybe I could beat the thing now if i tried :-).

Everything about FF7 was easy, except the chocobo part. Game magazines helped me with that.

and is Mike Tyson anything like the last two guys from super punch out 2, because those guys were cake? My brother and I used to play that game so much trying to beat each other's best times

BG2: Throne Of Bhaal, man that priestress bitch is the only boss I've never come close to defeating.

I got stuck at the Trolls keep part of BG2. I got there, activated the boss then walked out of the room and saved it. I was really bad the first time around, so my characters were weak with bad equipment and i had no potions. So there I was, unable to rest because if i did and failed, i would come out of the fight against the snake guys in worse shape than before i rested, and if i opened the door those troll guys would eat me alive. =[

Things is, in that game u got skills like guts (revive with 1 hp after death 50% of the time) and auto-item (auto elixir and boom full hp again)

damn its been so long since ive played that game that i wanna get that dusty old playstation back from retirement

FF7 was ridiculously easy... the weapons were simple, died maybe once or twice before i had a good strategy, basically i just killed my other 2 players so ruby couldn't sandstorm the guy with knights of the round, then you just spam it over and over and you win without any problems with one guy =/

dont remember much about emerald but i know i beat him first, just mimed KOTR constantly...

and sephiroth dies in one omni slash or one knights of the round, so just need cloud

final fantasy tactics is hard in some spots for sure, but once you get Orlandu it's over =[ that guy raped waaayy too hard

FF6 isn't hard either, although ive beaten it so many times maybe i just dont remember the challenge since i was like ~8 when i played and beat it

hardest boss for me is omega weapon in FF8, didn't want to refine all my cards etc. =[

Why are we even mentioning any Final Fantasy bosses? The only FF boss worth mentioning is Dark Cloud from FF3, and that guy was friggin easy once you got past 2500 max HP.
