But yeah in this game they really weren't that good and my team was really decent, I think we had another eagle guy and the opponents had one too. I just played another game though, against 2 eagle guys, and they totally sucked ass. Put 34 frags in and a pistol ace 1V4, what the fuck matchmaking haha I agree to a certain extent. On all popular maps BUT Nuke I don't really think the maps are too imbalanced. I've seen numbers somewhere. Casters love to call and treat Dust 2 as a T sided map for example but in reality it's like 49% - 51% if I remember correctly which is such a small imbalance that it just simply doesn't matter in-game Of course, CS is a game where you are guaranteed to play both sides anyways so technically even a map that is actually significantly imbalanced (such as Nuke in my opinion) is perfectly fine. This is where it gets interesting though because while on paper chances in CS are always equal, in practice/reality it just doesn't quite work like that. It's a mindset thing. If you imagine a map that is so imbalanced that one side wins 100% of rounds (so Nuke essentially lolol /jk), games will always go to 15-0 in the first half, then have the other side make it 15-15 draw in the second obviously. But here's the thing: from a morale point of view it is MUCH easier to achieve a 15-0 on a map that greatly favors your side than it is to equalize a 0-15 score with knowing that you can't win anymore AND that one mistake, one round loss, is the end of the game for you. This is my impression so far at least and it's why maps in CS still have to be almost perfectly balanced to be fair even though there is a team switch at halftime in my opinion.

)Burnt out is a possible too, take a break for a couple days? Sometimes you just slump and need some downtime.

I felt my aim getting worse for a while until I realized I was focusing too much on just headshotting people and not enough on spray control. Even at the professional level, people still don't ALWAYS get HS. The first 7-10 shots out of your rifle should hit where you want them to. Yeah, pretty much. Lately I watched a bit of CS 1.6 again and noticed that that was totally different. Not necessarily the amount but the way they are done. In 1.6 there are so many situation with insta-headshot when people just shot a salve (2-3 bullets). In GO kills usually take "much" longer because this way of shooting is only used for people behind obstructions like crates etc. In open field it's spraying, like 90% of the time, regardless of the distance. I get the feeling that it's because of the hitboxes and movement. Going for for salves felt pretty reliable in 1.6 while in GO it doesn't feel reliable at all. Spraying, even at long distance, feels much more reliable.

The best aim practice is simply spamming lots of games. It's also the best practice in general as it allows you to train your game sense at the same time. The problem is that your opponent's skill can heavily deter you from getting good feedback and in terms of repitition/time it's pretty poor when compared to DM/aim maps.
