yah, I have 1600 dpi, 1.5 sense in cs, and 6/11 windows. so I assume it's 2400? I play with the same in MM, I've always been a wrist player though.

damn thats some serious wrist control. I'm an arm player that seems insane to me :p.

it goes both ways, I just can't play with my arm haha
I'll have to check but I think I'm currently using 500 edpi (what the fuck by the way...? thought I was way higher than that...), with a Zowie on blue sensitivity and 0.25 sens.
Makes a lot more sense then as to why it feels impossible to do those quick turns haha.
Still, given how crisper my aim feels, I think I'm not going to cater to bhop needs anytime soon, considering how shitty I am.

damn, only two pros with lower than you
how much do you need to swipe to do a 360?
I used to play that low back in 1.6. Actually lower was like 450. That is 2.5 arm swipes for a 360. But why would you want to be able to 360 in one swipe :p.
Its not really super viable unless you are a playing lurk second entry type roles. If something shows up on your screen its almost impossible to overaim so it feels really good (or crisp as he said) but your ability to get out of jail is severely limited.
I compromise now with a 550 which is the bare minimum to get a full 1 use my arm and a pad to 180. But its a large swipe.
I have the TL Goliathus, and I need three mousepad length and a fifth to do a full 360 (it's kinda small). So that's... more than one meter. O_O
I actually decided one day to lower my sensitivy because I felt it was too shaky, i.e. that small movements of my hand would make it very imprecise. I kept doing that, gradually, from 1300 or 1400 ish, until now. But never really paid attention to how low it got... I think I was at 0.85 sens at the beginning...
I stopped going down at 0.22 and actually re-increased it for the first time, and let it stay at 0.25.
Each time my aim felt more precise, although I needed a small adjustment period, but at some point it reaaaally felt too slow for movement and I increased it again.

I think I play 1.5sensx800dpi. I used to play with a custom accel curve with povhat driver but meh. Accel takes too much practice to keep at a decent level. My sens is higher than people normally think because of how I use my mouse. I rarely lift my wrist unless I need to flick or clear angles so I get a lot of control from that. Could afford to go up or down. I honestly don't know how you guys use such low sens tho. 800edpi was my the cap where I couldn't go down and be functional in too many situations.
I used to play on 400 dpi 1.95/2.5/3.3 sens but recently i gave up on that and just went 5 sens. Feels surprisingly good and now sc2 sensitivity doesnt destroy my muscle memory every time cause the sensitivity i play sc2 with is almost the same as with cs.

It's air strafing, you gain speed in the source engine by dragging your mouse and holding the same direction key. Ie. drag mouse to right and then hold the D key.

Pretty sure that applied to the Half life engine also for 1.6

Yes I knew that but switching directions that fast isn't exactly this, is it? Or you mean you're switching ADAD as well synchronously with the left-right aim juggling?

Well, because I still need to go forward the best way is to zig zag to keep gaining speed while also going in the correct direction. I am indeed synching the ADAD with my mouse movement back and forth. This video explains it pretty well:
