32 kills and you still have a draw. #1 team NA. Hahaha. And yeah, the pubs are very low quality at the moment, but you're also using an AWP which is the biggest pubstomp gun in the game from my experience. Fun to go god mode with it though.

He's not in competitive mode

You play classic casual or a community server.
No rankings on a community server as everyone seems to be forgetting for some reason...

lmao, posting screens of pub-stomping, man you're awesome!

Only players interested in playing classic competitive will use matchmaking and this mode will eventually become dead if the terrible matchmaking system isn't changed. Everyone else will realize that community servers are infinity times better than the shitty matchmaking. Well, if you don't mind playing with shitty players, go ahead and use those infinity times better community servers filled with shitty players. *rolls eyes*

I must say as a CS 1.6 player, the new map annoys me I can't barely see anything and it looks so cluttered. Also a bit too much trash on the maps and some strange effect after crouching and shooting happening I don't really understand. Otherwise the game is pretty fun, finally no russianjump cs 1.6 that I can enjoy.

Your comment is dumb, Quake live is NOTHING like CS 1.6, why would you ever recommend someone who wants to play a modern 1.6 to go play it? then stop complaining how everything was better in cs 1.6 ^^

Had so much fun last night> really digging the builtin compeittive mode, had some awesome 5v5 scrims with good teammates. A couple 16-14 victories that went down to the very last round. Also digging the demolition mode with the 1 bombsite maps, much more action packed for a pub style game. Cant wait to get home after work today!!!!!!!!!

Wait so there's ELO in Casual too?
|
Everything that puts you on a Valve server is ranked (demolition, arms race, classic competitive, classic casual).
|
who cares about elo, this isnt the ladder in sc2. noobs are good target practice for good players and noobs will get better by learning from getting owned by better players.

Ahh well that explains everything. I hopped into a game this morning and there were loads of more competent players.

Anyone found a full damage chart yet?
I could swear I one-shotted someone once with the Tec9, and that just doesn't feel right at all.
With cl_cmdrate 120 and cl_updaterate 120, I felt the register was pretty good. Every single time when I got that "definite headshot" feeling, it registered. Would like more goosh, however.

Tec9 does one shot people, it was recently nerfed to have a larger spread pattern, but yet it remains questionably too good for the $400 tag...

I still think its terrible despite doing decent damage.

Its kinda funny, most people talking trash on csgo are swedes and countries in that general region. Only reason being is that thats where the same teams/players have been dominating 1.6 ever since the american 'pro' scene died out. None of the swediish top players(save for NIP) wanna switch because it means they cant just roll into tournament after tournament getting top 3 constantly. So in turn these top players come out hard against cs:go and try to bring it down before it can even get off the ground. Their attitudes towards change are 100x worse than bw fans.

There's so much unnecessary crap on maps, barrels, bricks, cans, the new buy menu is hideous and way less functional than the old simple text menu. And the "new" near wall-hackish radar is.. still there. I don't know why it was implemented in CS:S, don't know why it is now. Map remakes also aren't the game's strong point. I remember inferno as a map that was so clean and neat, now it's ugly and there's shit everywhere.
Do you actually use the buy menu? First thing I did before I played the game was set up my scripts like any half-decent cs player should do.
