Only reason being is that thats where the same teams/players have been dominating 1.6 ever since the american 'pro' scene died out. Yeah, it's kind of like people who have played CS a lot don't like the newest game. They must have some conspiracy going on, it couldn't be that they don't like it because it's just bad, no.
Ive been playing cs since beta 3. You think 1.6 was made over night? CS:GO is a good game and people will get used to it if they play it for more than an hour.

Do you actually use the buy menu? First thing I did before I played the game was set up my scripts like any half-decent cs player should do. No, in CS 1.5 and 1.6 I simply bought manually. If you can't buy all the stuff you'll need with b43 bo2 bo4 etc then scripts won't help you.
Lol I press a single key to buy anything I want while you press 3.... I never even have to look at the menu so it is not a problem.

Then dont play it, dude. Play 1.6 for another decade. And oh ya, did you miss my point about 1.6 being like the 30th version of cs?

Who cares about the buy menu? It's not even relevant when you just click b13 b42 b52 b64 etc -__- You're even given 10 seconds jeez.

Why ?

If you think of 1.6 as the best or most fun version of cs then you have no idea what you are talking about. 1.6 was widely regarded as a huge step backward in gameplay, so was 1.5. People who compain that csgo movement "isnt like 1.6" dont realize that 1.6 movement was also super shitty when updated from 1.3>1.5>1.6. Then people got used to it and a bunch of cs newbs started playing in 1.5/1.6(like you) and automatically think its the best thing ever. Like I said, stick to the 12 year old engine and game, its not going anywhere.
