One thing I do not like is the scaffolding on dust 2 in front of b. It's really distracting If you want to have a quick look at stairs and towards t base as a ct for example.

Played go last night, was pretty fucking fun. I loved the amount of detail that they put into the game.

The ct and t skins correspond to the map, so it actually makes fucking sense.

Prior to this why the fucking hell would the the SAS be doing on US soil (Office)?

Why are the Israelis in the aztec temples?

Why are arctic warfighters from europe in the middle east?

dont have any issues seeing my enemy. also the weapon sounds are quite bad overall, but i dont remember them beeing any better in old cs.

for me the game is fun. a decent fps time filler when im not in the mood for large scale battles. def feels more like the old cs too me then source ever did. maybe even a bit too much for many new guys cause it feels like an old game.

i can understand when the oldskool guys bitch about it not beeing 100% the same, as a 10 year sc player i heavily disagree with ATON of sc2s design choices. but thats the way it is and tbh as someone who played cs the last time before 1.6 launched it seems far closer to the original then sc2.

No, not everything has to be like 1.6... but CS:Go is the one thing which does. Your comment is dumb, Quake live is NOTHING like CS 1.6, why would you ever recommend someone who wants to play a modern 1.6 to go play it?

Getting about 30 fps on my laptop. I'm happy with that but anyone started making scripts yet for low end pc to boost fps?

I had an old CSS one that booster my fps from like 20 to 40 :D.

Can't find servers on the community server list. Pretty annoying since matchmaking always ends me up on servers with ~150 ping or something.

People are hilariously bad in pubs lol. I wasn't too good of a 1.6 player but I remember the basics of competitive play back when I used to play in CAL-O with my friends. The more current 1.6 players that were mid to high level were destroying kids left and right lol. It's also extremely easy to pick out people who came from COD to the realm of CS, like running and gunning for example... just bad. They don't hit anything and then they rage! It's sooooo fun to listen to and watch.

Mhmm, just flexing my elitist jerk muscles, gotta do it once in a while.

I think the level of pub players will improve a buttload when the game is released and matchmaking can do its magic. I mean, Purge even brought this up yesterday in his Q/A, how if you were good in Dota 1 during the bnet era, playing pubs was not very rewarding since you started a game and anyone could join, the skill variance was huge. Now in dota 2, while there's still bad players in very high, it's far easier to get semi-equal games. Same thing should hopefully happen to CS:Go.

Nope. Nothing is changing about player skill level when the game is released. Only players interested in playing classic competitive will use matchmaking and this mode will eventually become dead if the terrible matchmaking system isn't changed. Everyone else will realize that community servers are infinity times better than the shitty matchmaking.

It's pretty clunky, feels slower turning/running and the scopes are just terrible. Still pretty fun though.
