I mean they could just rotate one in for the time of the operation. Just to get players who are willing to learn a new map the possibility to do so. It's not like there are no good maps out there. (this operation is actually one of the better ones regarding maps) But since Valve decided to dump the community on map votes and pick what they think is good nobody seems to care about new maps at all. They're just implementing them for the lolz. I personally think we'll never ever see a real new map in the MM pool (hell, i even highly doubt we're gonna see a remake of a classic map there)

Besides Inferno got more balanced after the cancerous timer change. Inferno was an awesome tactical map, getting removed for a shitty map that isn't even ready. Rather have removed D2 which is literally the same shit every game. Fuck this shit

I get that they reduced wall bang spots because molly's but I spamming to clear spots when executing was so fun about nuke.

They won't remove Cobble from active map pool. Gotta make that sweet sweet money of Cobble souvenir cases.

Fucking ridiculous, thanks Volvo. I agree that there should be an announcement and a ramp up before the map actually gets changed for official tournaments. Just throwing it in peoples faces like that is unfair. But then whoever is running your lan should be smart enough to allow time for the adjustment. Its not like the map stopped existing, I dont see why if its not some official valve tournament that the people running your lan have to change anything.

I agree, that its kinda stupid, but they just go by the finnish esports association rules. Not to mention playing competitive in general. Inf was one of the best comp maps by far, and its removed by this piece of shit of a map. That makes me salty
