He has no solid offers from EU teams afaik. He is on a legend status team that is also set to compete in a 3.5 million league and a 1.2 million league in the next few months. He would be basically throwing away a shit ton of money to sit at home in the Ukraine. He must have gotten really nasty at Malmo and liquid must have decided its not worth it.

Once again, this isn't backed by any fact. Just suppositions. Unless any reliable source prove otherwise, he's the one who made the move.

I really don't understand this reasoning. Why would you go so far to search for a reason, when the most obvious one is right in front of you? It was quite obvious looking at his stream and previous statements that he was really unhappy living in the US. Why do people underestimate being away from your home for so long when you are 19/20 and thrown into a teamhouse with LoL players that you don't know. Why do you feel the need to guess stuff that might or might not have happened just because you are so fixated on S1mple being a toxis player that had to be fired. I am not saying the decision to let him go was not helped by the fact that there were problems with him, but you really can't guess from that, that Liquid "decided its not worth it". Liquid losing s1mple is bad for Liquid, period. But keeping him against his will would be even worse.

I am not doubting he was homesick, but I think it was made worse by what appears to have been contentious team practices, as stated by Hiko in interviews and as demonstrated in their match against tyloo at Malmo. Either way its not a good look for s1mple and really sucks for liquid now that their roster is back to square one. What EU team is going to pick up a known 'quitter'? Dude is like the naniwa of cs without any of the tournament wins. I still think if valve had allowed koosta to play the major that things would have turned out better. You simply cant build team chemistry with a different team for every tournament.

"Simple was homesick" = "Simple is a quitter. nobody wants quitters." "Simple is toxic, Liquid is sick of him" = "referring to a footnote in the announcement that may not even had anything to do with his attitude but more to do with how he would fit role wise in the team with Koosta the dedicated awp and also the logistical issues of actually keeping him in the US. Considering a packed summer coming up it may be to late to get him back in." /facepalm. Maybe its really just as Simple (excuse the pun) as he didnt want to stay and liquid had enough reasons to allow him to leave. It happens all the time and thats what I got from the announcement. Thats all that needs to be read into this. Hes still a kid, kids get homesick, kids get lonely. Its kind of a dick thing to sit there and comment on how he should be making rational decisions for his career when most people here were partying it up with family and friends. + Show Spoiler + Personally regarding the second point. I live in the US for 10 i(ncluding college)years and then fucked off to Canada in May las year, because a stupid lottery would not extend my work authorization. And its not like I was working at a Deli. I was working for the Government in DC at the end of my stay. For people who dont have relatively open travel to the US it might be hard to understand this but I have filled out probably filled out more visa forms and attached more supporting docs than nearly every European or American in this thread combined. The applications have to be crafted ina certain way, in this case they might need to lawyer up. All of these can be done and done easily but its still cumbersome and for someone who doesnt even want to be there. Its not worth it. /endrand

Im just saying, even if simple wasn't homesick there would be a good chance that Liquid would eventually get tired of his shit. Honestly, im not that sad for Liquid in this situation.

No I didnt mean you specifically. I just meant generally for people who are making that assumption. As for you, yes that may have been the case, but it didnt look all that bad tbh.

Personally the inferno in GO is pretty shit. To much environment, and CODlike for my taste in addition to some issues with how they setup the sites, But thats just preferance.
