I just sit there and craft because I can't be bothered.
I watch streamers, then I watch me, and I see all the little things they do that add up. The things I don't do. At the end of the day, there was still a 4-5 level gap between me and the top finishers of the race, and while lucky blue packs can do a lot for you, top racers can consistently finish that high, whereas this is the first time I've even come close to them.
You could just be talking about how ridiculous flameblast is in Dchamps right now, though, and on that point I'd agree. There are precious few times where I feel threatened thanks to the awe-inspiring firepower of flameblast.
I just realized I wrote a nice long post telling you why you were wrong, when I could have just asked you, a far more experienced racer, why you think you're right. Odds are good that I'm wrong and that I'll learn something if I know your reasoning here.

Well for flameblast basically all you do is put flameblast on right click, move on left click then alternate clicking as fast as possible. You can flameblast like 3-5 times a second, and constant movement keeps you very safe. You barely need to build any damage because flameblast is such a strong skill already.

You're vastly over analyzing my post for some reason. It is a jab at how more than half the top 100 of every DC race is a Witch or Templar using flameblast.

I'm still salty on the fact that for sig currently, top witch is more than double the xp of top shadow, and 1.8x the xp of top ranger. This is just sad.
Pretty sure if melee splash is available at lvl 1 dual sword viper strike is better than currently ranger atm.
Case in point, last night dchamp, top ranger had lower xp than 30th witch and 16th templar, say what :|

Woot made it to lvl 20 in endless!! My best race so far, still garbage compared to some of you guys but im pretty happy with it regardless. Spec Throw Ranger fyi. Racing so much funsies!

Forgot about todays D:C. :X Started with 15 minutes left. I made 3,5 levels in the area after the brute within 2 minutes, lol. Blue pack size for the win.
Top 20 is 5 templars and 15 witches btw. Not a single other class.

Templar struggles against Kuduku but otherwise is just as good as witch.

If Shadow got Storm Call in the first chest I'm pretty sure it would be up there with Templar. Besides Kuduku and The Brute everything evaporates to Dual Broken Sword fire trap. Those two just take sooooooo long to kill without an AoE+Single Target skill, though.

So just did my best race ever! lvl 21 in Endless Ledge, Spec Throw Scion. Got 65th place, and counting down from the top of the list, i think im 4th best Scion? Is that possible? Is there anywhere to check like top 10 of each class in a race, or something like that? Thanks guys.
Edit: Just found it heh, under Season & Events tab in my Profile, 4th Scion. Woot!

I filter to top 100 per page and then Ctrl+F search for class and count down.

Congrats, and good luck doing it again! It gets a lot harder to tolerate not breaking into the top 100 after a big win like this.

That's an interesting take on it for sure, I always just ST him down, who cares about souls, though it can get frustrating if you have a really bad weapon.
