When you enter town log out to character screen as fast as you can and spam enter, then talk to Tarkleigh, socket FP gem, and check for MS boots. -Skip Coast and Mud Flats. Some people like to hit level 2 in these zones, but FP is really really bad, so I prefer to kill squids with FP to level because it's a little more reasonable. -In Lower Submerged make sure you hit level 2, it isn't bad to hit level 3 either if you have good packsize or blue mobs. If you find the wp leave to go take Storm Call and check for MS boots if you didnt get them earlier. If you don't find the wp dont worry about it. From here and on is when the RNG really starts to kick in, starting with going the right way to Upper and not finding corrupted zones. -In Upper you must be level 3 before you leave for ledge, preferably as close to or at level 4 if possible. Once you hit level 4 (In upper sub or ledge use a tp to take storm call if you dropped a tp.) -At Ledge is when the improv starts to come in. If you don't have storm call in your inventory (or have a tp so you can get it once you hit level.) You should aggressively skip all but very large packs until you get to the wp. Otherwise proceed normally and skip all packs that are 4 or less mobs. Once you get to the end of Ledge you have an important decision to make and this is where it's important to have a timer. If you have 3m 30sec left or more you should go to prison, if you have 2m 30 sec or less left you should reset ledge (Reset from the back 50% so you can visit the kuduku pack as much as possible.). If you're finishing ledge somewhere around 9 minutes into the race i'm not 100% sure what is more optimal. At this point it's just playing efficiently with how you kill mobs and how you "read" the zones. (Understanding the climb/lower prison/upper prison layouts.) -I dont pick up much stuff if any at all, it's not uncommon for me to finish a race with literally just a wand equipped. I also skip coral because I log in town, and I dont click any waypoints. If you dont feel comfortable doing these things, you don't have to. I just do it because it saves like 10~ seconds. Hopefully that helped some. Thank you very very much! Some great advice in there...Will definitely put it to good use. :D On a side note, flameblast templar is ridiculously fun to level. Hope they don't nerf it too hard lol.

I been playing as ST Scion and feel its kind of weak, maybe im alone on that one tho, feels really dependant on getting a 2-Handed axe or something to drop, and hopefully get a transmute/alch. After Hillock i always talked to Tarkleigh to see more MS boots, why is it you say to log out after getting into town exactly? Im sure im missing something obvious here, regardless, excellent tips, thanks very much. And im sure MarCson wakes up he will thank you as well lol, we both pulled an all nighter lvling new toons for the hell of it, so we be tired. GL all. It saves like two seconds if you have a reasonable fast computer to log right when you enter town, because when you log back in you're in the center of the town, rather than down to the west of the beach area.

It's weak compared to what it used to be, but it's not all that bad. We're still not the worst class! It's very hard to get #1 overall in regular races now though. Docks races are generally won by searing bond templars. Don't think anything really comes close. Even when I have good docks rng as well as taking several risks I will slowly watch them beat me ![]() You also don't need the stone axe early on, any white 2hander is enough to carry you to prisoners gate asssuming you get an iron ring early on. I'd strongly advise against looking for MS boots right after hillock though, it's an luxury that you rarely get. So unless it's a sig race where you are aiming for the perfect run, you are just wasting precious early seconds that might cost you later on.

It's there so that new players/ players who don't have a solid map pool have a starting point in mapping, which might help them to build up a map pool themselves. It is not for selling/vendor 3 : 1 to 72. It's for run. The tab was cleared 80% over 1 day ( yday), which I highly doubt is for running only. No one in our guild in Ambush at that lvl can clear so many map so fast, especially since I constantly fill it up too. I put all my 66-71 drop there ever since we got the spare stash space, and I've noticed that some others do the same too, which is great ![]() Pls be mindful, and have fun mapping ![]() I know I polished off maybe 5 or so 68-70 maps from that tab in the space of two days or so. it might just have been a couple people doing the same level maps as well as some people vendoring, but I definitely noticed this and I'll put some of my lower-level maps in there to fill things up. I have about 3 or 4 solid rows of 66s right now...

edit: oats and enzyme logged in with 4 minutes before the race. lol double edit: oats ripped in prisoners gate like a scrub ;p I ripped 90 mins in to a rare discharger with powerful crits in Marketplace (took 550 from it) and something random hit me for the last 20, was 5th and 25th. enzyme dropped a quecholi unique mace off of Vaal so he carried hard once we hit a3 and I expect him to go way up the ranks.

I'd say it's like running a potato, but it's so much more exciting. I can never really tell what my latency is going to be. Sometimes it's normal, sometimes it's stable in the 500s. I also can't tell if I missed a mob, or if I'm just waiting for hit confirmation from the server, or if I'm desynced. It's a mini adventure every time I slam!

I don't exactly think we'll be walking away with a demigod's after this race, but it would be rather boring if we didn't at least try. What. The hell. I'm not even that good. I mean, yeah, I know what I'm doing, but this is my second Dchamps race of the season, and I only did half of the first one. Summer sword abuse can explain away the 48 overall, but 16th templar is just something I shouldn't be able to do, given the obscene skill gap between me and the best.

There is very little skill involved in flameblast.
